On The Trail - Trail Tech Voyager Review | Fix Your Dirt Bike.com
After ride review of the Trail Tech Voyager Enduro GPS system. I am very happy with my purchase of the Trail Tech Voyager, and I look forward to getting better ...
hey so i want to get one but i am wondering how accurate it is signal wise
will i need to get the extra booster thing or is it pretty accurate just on
its own also if you have used the gps for speed and mileage how accurate is
it
+Fix Your Dirt Bike thanks i want to get one and swap it between a crf150r a crf250x and a trx400ex and just swap it around so less i have to set up the better
+Brian Hunt I haven't needed a signal booster on the bikes I have installed this on, but every case is different. Right now, I have my TT installed on a KTM 300 XC-W that has a built in odometer and speedometer. When I compare the two there is a slight difference, but nothing that would matter. If you have the option I would install the wheel speed sensor just to be certain.
I've just fitted mine, and like the last voyager i had, the GPS signal
seems ok, but the compass doesn't read correct, like north is opposite! and
the pointer on the GPS flashes from grey to black so it doesn't record the
track properly...hopefully the antenna will fix these issues...
+mike.k That's new to me, call Trail Tech and see what they say. This one is installed on a 2013 KTM 450 XC-F, so it's not much different than your Husaberg metal wise so I doubt it's vehicle interference. This might be a new issue, if you're lucky TT might send you the antenna for free!
No, I do not have the external GPS antenna. I looked into it, but according to Trail Tech you will only need the external antenna if you are having issues getting signal. The older models would sometimes have issues depending on mounting location or the amount of metal around the GPS unit. If you have signal now, save the $30.
@TeamAlecAmerica MY BIGGEST GRIPE WITH THE CAR IS THE DEALERSHIP AT
ESSENDON JEEP MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA, DISPITE OF ALL THE PROBLEMS I
ENCOUNTERED WITH THIS LEMON OF A CAR, THEY JUST DID NOT GIVE A SHIT, AND
ONE OF THEM EVEN SAID TO ME AND I QUOTE 'IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT THEN FUCK OFF
TO SOMEONE ELSE' (HIS NAME-ANTHONY)
Looks like the area around Moab, Utah. In any case, that retracting roof
design just screams out 'mechanical error renders this vehicle useless in
cold climates'>.> Manual for roofs, to me, is always better, albeit less
convenient. Anything power should have a manual backup. Especially windows.
@suckmybigbootsa why are you posting bad things about jeep on all these
videos? you must've had a really bad experience. shoulda known what you
were buying before you bought it bro.
WARNING:IF YOU WANT HEADACHES BUY THIS SHITBOX, JUST TRADED IN MY 2010 KK
CHEROKEE LIMITED, HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS AND A CAR THIS SIZE WITH ONLY
147 KW, GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE.
In the rest of the world the Liberty was always called the Cherokee.
There's a big difference between a Cherokee and Grand Cherokee. There
always has been.....
