Ha, just moved to NY last year and even here I miss Papa Ginos, whether
Watertown, Brighton, Waltham, Walpole Mall, Attleboro, Warwick, Plainville
or Foxboro. Some of my fondest memories with my father are splitting
pitchers of root beer with our onion pizza at the Foxboro store. There
aren't a lot of chains you can really get behind these days, but no matter
how gourmet, rustic, or authentic the pizza I try here in NY or around the
world, nothing will ever replace a Papa Ginos slice for me.
Papa Ginos = easily the best chain pizza. It even does compete with non
chain pizza for its flavor so there. And its good cold too. They got great
cheese and pizza with toppings.. you always know a good pizza if the cheese
tastes good, well theirs more than passes. Plus its Pizza Hut and Papa
Johns who pushes all these crappy pizza combos and their sauces are not
very good at all.
