1980 VW Rabbit MK1 test drive
After installing new brakes and adjusted suspension, took this little Rabbit to the road. Too much traffic so clip is down to 4 min. New brakes came in handy at ...
Would you answer to me ?. I got 1981 vw rabbit mk1 as a gift from neighbour
and it's all stock on it. Engine is in really good condition though the
rest of a car is not. I want to get some power of little 1.6 diesel engine
by installing supercharger or air intakes, basic idea of these two is to
get more cold clean air to my little engine or simply transplant engine
from vw second generation gti. But i doubt that i could transplant engine
with just over a $1100 and i am 15. Can you suggest smtng
I think you are planning to blow your coin in a wrong way. You got a bone
stock 1.6 diesel engine and a 30 year old suspension/brake/steering setup.
Tinkering with the engine will probably result in less smoke and will be
better for the environment, but realistically any potential performance
mods will be negated by the rest of the car. Save your dough and enjoy the
car as is, you are only 15! Your time will come so stay cool and perfect
your driving skills. Check out tdiclubcom if you wish to
@EverGreenProduct1ons Well, the list is too long, there is hardly anything
stock on this car. Most engine mods were from Techtonics Tuning (heads,
headers, piston set, camshaft, sprockets etc.) If you go to
techtonicstuningcom you will see a vast parts for MK1. Also has Neuspeed
torsion and anti-roll bars, full cage etc. Depending on what parts you are
after, check out europartsdirectcom + performance-cafecom from time to time
they have some good deals. I am actually selling mine soon...
What else go you have on her besides brakes and coilovers? i just bought a
1980 rabbit c, it has a 1.6 gasser in it, at the moment it doesnt run, if
you know any where to get 1.6l gas performance parts that would be great.
@tubocaldo Suspensio and steering is not bad at all. Car has only 250k
kilometres. I only THOUGHT about trasplanting an engine or upgrading some
parts to get few more horsies.
You may have to turn your volume up for this video. Replacing a bail spring on the daiwa regal s2000i. Find the schematic on your reel for the correct part ...
Thanks Steve. You inspired me to go back and look at my Shakespeare Omni
2004.040 left sitting. I found a small variation. The long end of the
spring went to the small hole in the bail arm first and with the arm
screwed back in place and then I could press the short end to the pin size
hole on the base. Now to go and find those elusive Scottish trout.
+Pat Campbell Thanks Pat! Bring your favourite reels back to life while saving a bunch of money! I service all my reels every year, sometimes twice a season. Ensures smooth casting, quiet and effortless retrieving. High quality reels are the easiest to service, while cheap baitcasters or spinning reels require higher maintenance and are more difficult to disassemble or have limited access to the gears. Most older reels are the easiest to service as they were made to last. Newer ones have less access or harder access to the gears and other components, although newer reels are designed with better gear ratios.
+Shyam Kumar I also haven't seen a video on YouTube on the same matter with as many views as this one. I think the majority get the point, its unfortunate but some are slower than others.
+Shyam Kumar Well, it's easy to get the idea. It's not exactly rocket science. Made this video with a old phone camera 5 years ago and I have over 25,000 views. Not bad.
