Testing out the 1987 Dodge Omni I've been working on, still has a lot of work before its close to done. and I know the tachometer isn't right, but its what I"m using ...
Cool ,nice run for sure and a real CSX nice !!.I ran a SVT with my shadow
and it was pretty much even .The SVT was stock minus the exhaust, yet i knew
if he had put the mods into his i did in my shadow ,man oh man i would have
had my ass handed to me.Those terminators are monsters once the tuning
begins.Again nice run 1991gsxawd
These are 2.2L NOT 2.5L, and they didn't come with a T3 turbo on them, they
came with a T2 Garret. Same .43 exhaust housing as the T25 but a slightly
smaller compressor house. I have one, mine is #18. The only T3 Dodge back
then was a 1991-92 Dodge Spirit RT and a 1992-93 Dodge Daytona Iroc RT.
Thanks, the only mods on this car was a large NPR intercooler, +40 injectors
and Mopar Performance LM, V6 TB, 255lph fuel pump, stock MAP was tricked
with a diode, clutch was a Centerforce DF, stock 520 tranny,it also
received a little weight reduction except I kept P/S for the street.
Hey that car looks familiar!! ;) It's unfortunate that the CSX suffered a
rear-end collision with a honda.. that was definitely a quick ass car. I
think I'll rebuild the motor eventually and hopefully find a donor vehicle
to put it into. Peace!
I've got a 93 shadow es. 3.0 5spd and its amazing. its quick, gets >25mpg
city, hauls everything ive needed, 4&5 star safety rating, and under $11k
msrp. Why has Chrysler been incapable since then?
got a shadow lover right here, im more of a K-car person really, but still
i love all 4 cyl inder Mopars of the 80's and early 90's (NOT a fan of the
mitsubishi 2.6 used in sone cars)
@kcarman88 too many reliablitiy issues with the 2.6l. even tho in the
Conquest they are nice..but I'd rather have a 2.5lT over the 2.6lT anyday
of the week!
That is the only reason why I beat him to the finish line, the guy could
not drive as the Cobra should have been in the low 12's or maybe even high
11's
Good run. I know first hand what a 2.5LT can do to a stock vanilla mustang.
Back in 2004, I was dominating the Ford 4.6, even if it had a stick lol....
