@fanofjapanandmusic hey its good that your thinking about your future at such a young age... hehe I wish I had your maturity when I was in high school. I don't know you in person but I'm really proud of you. I work for a bank, I currently at the Risk Monitoring Department. Where we do investigation on fraudulent activities. Is it worth the money? Mac gives stuff in it that we really don't need.If mac want to sell more Macs so should they actually take out Ilife or what the name for it is. They should give their customers a choice.

Are you a collector of Macboink pro's? That's really interesting. I have one computer and that's all I need. I guess with a mac you need several, in case they choose to lock up at random moments.

I hear it should be coming out soon. Worth the wait. Usually Apple upgrades the Macbook Pro line ups every 6 to 8 months. Last upgrade was in June 09.

Windows 7 is great improvement over Vista. I have it on my Mac, it runs great... If I had a choice I would go with Snow Leopard... its more simple.

the white macbook is better i baught a firewire to usb wire and i also bought a usb stick that has a memory card slot and a micro sd slot and the total was 12.96 ohh and i baught this usb led light like i just connect it and that is it it lights my keyboard up in the dar k and it was 5 bucks those specks are over priced and who uses fire wire people who have sony vx cameras but still you can get that for cheap so macbook wins

There should be an update coming to the MacBook Pro line in mid Jan 2010. Rumor is that Apple has booked a venue to host press event on the 26th of Jan. Expecting the new mobile versions of the Quad-core i5 intel chips from the iMac to be offered for the new MacBook Pro. It's worth the upgrade. Oh one quick side not the famed tablet Mac is also on the horizon to be called the "islate".

The Macbook 13" I use it mainly for university... I prefer the Macbook Pro 15" because its has a lot of extra features, like the back lit keyboard and sd card slot which I use often. I use the Macbook Pro for all my editing and media. Both are great laptops, you get more than what you pay for.

If you look at the past few years, apple has reduce the price and enhanced performance. Even if they don't decrease the price I doubt there will be any increase for the newer mac. So u still get more bank for buck. If ur looking to buy the current I think we can expect a price drop.

I love my unibody white MacBook. When I got it, it had the exact same specs as the 13 inch MacBook Pro but with a bigger hard drive. Well now the MacBook is discontinued but still I love my MacBook, lots of gaming and image/video editing, all that kinda stuff works awesomely.

why would you say AS U SEE THERE IS BIGGER 15 INCH SCREEN AND MACBOOK HAS 13INCH there is a 13inch macbook pro you cant compare a 15inch macbook pro with different specs, you can compare a macbook pro with a macbook with the same specs but yeah this is stupid

This shit is dumb how you gone compare two thing thats not on the same level. The white macbook is a basic model and its 13 in the 15 inch was modified to this specifics users preference not a fair comparison in my book n fuck yall who say other wise.

lets be honest, EVERYONE'd prefer a macbook pro, but I think the screen format and white colours make the white macbook stand out more - I think it looks a lot nicer, even though it's specs aren't as good :).

the white macbook isnt 2.26kg, its 2.07kg, i knw im being pedantic:P i love my white macbook unibody, its a lot cheaper than the pros and its in a way better than the base 13 inch pro

@TheRealChina ya good job getting the 13" because the 15" 2.53ghz is the exact same except 2" more screen size I have a 2.66ghz macbook pro 15" but it was only in 15"
