Nah man yours has the base model's front bumper. 93-94 SE's had the GT
front bumper and GT's side ground effects/side skirts with "SE" on them.
Yours doesn't have that either so its a 94 base. Why do you want OBD2? just
curious. Probes with OBD2 are "check engine light happy" and the CEL is
usually always on. Are you looking at a base, SE, or GT?
my vehicle title says its a SE model. maybe its a late production 94. i
want obd2 for diagnostics and live data reading. every ford prior to having
obd2 sucks to read codes and diagnose for things without live data. the
paper clip test is fine but when it comes to figuring out temps,
percentages and missfires live data is a must
its actually an SE (why it does not have the stickers on the doors is
beyond me??) it is a 1994 model with 119,000 miles currently. just did a
tune up on it and got some new tires for it. I might be looking for a 1996
or 1997 model with obdII data connection
yah they are nice cars and i have never had any problems with it
1996 Ford Probe SE Old Start Cold Start.
My car has been sitting for over two months and I am just not getting around to getting the old beast running again. After month one I found that the alarm system ...
Good day Ben. They always sound a little off after sitting for a while but
it's a good solid car i am sure it will run well for a long time for you.
Have a great day buddy.
Lucy and Harry
thought you traded that thing off for a real car :o)
put some stabil or Seafoam in it if the thing is going to sit for long
periods of time like that without being started then you won't have those
problems. and i don't suppose there is a place you could plug up a battery
tender to electrical either is there? if not you might want to get one of
those solar chargers to help keep the battery up. they aren't the best in
the world but every little bit helps.
solar panel sitting on the dash with provide the juice he needs to a bat tender some bat tenders will tend and charge rite threw the cig plug that way theres no cords hanging out side that someone thats board will cut or mess with
+DaddytechEnt I might be getting rid of that car some day soon so I'm not to concerned with certain things on it anymore. Either way it's back to normalish now that I've driven it around town a bit. That's all it needed.
In conjunction with the throttle valve, use a long screwdriver as a
stethoscope and see if one of the injectors isn't clicking when it
happens. There are many more things to check but due to some of the
symptoms you described it's as good of a place to start as any. Good to
see your Probe again. Been like a year at least since your last Probe
video. You know I'm always here if you want to bounce ideas off me.

if anyone asks, that glare that makes it fuzzy and unclear is probably
because of the amount of light or moisture on the camera lense. if anyone
wants to know why i set the camera down for a breif second, the steering
wheel was cockeyed and won't let you turn the ignition key unti the
steering wheel straightens.
It all depends on the application. Every car is different so you would have
to try it and it would be loudest sealed off.. I turned mine to face into
the cabin and it wasn't loud at all. I would recommend keeping it facing
the hatch and buy a better quality amp. Those Power Acoustiks just don't do
it.
ford probe klde Scoping disty cam and crank sensors
THis is a good working disty testing the internal ckp and cam sensors, cranking with all plugs out so not to drain the battery, you can vaguely see the screen shot ...
I'm glad you took the time to record and post this video, but some
narrative explaining what you're doing and what you're looking for would
have been way more helpful.
