i am so opposed to open boarders. a world with total globalization would have to be a monoculture, it would have to abide by the same laws and customs everywhere. borders are good for separating the people who want gays to be able to openly marry people of the same gender from those who want to kill anybody openly doing such things. it separates those who want legal marijuana and those who do not want legal marijuana. it creates borders where people can marry only one person, and where people can marry many people. it separates those who want to raise their own children from those who's children are raised by state controlled communes (israel if you are wondering). diversity is a good thing. and borders keep diversity. liberty is maintained if you can move to a different land where the thing you want to do is legal. sure it might not be legal here, or there, but somewhere it is legal. if there is no borders than there will be things that are not legal anywhere. and YOU won't have much of a say over what that is. opening borders opens you to laws of OTHER countries and OTHER cultures. by the numbers an open border world is more likely to outlaw homosexuals with death, than allow gay marriage if all borders are open.
