//www.mormonchannel.org/watch/series/mormon-messages/after-the-storm Maylene has endured many storms in her life, but it was in the wake of the 2013 ...
I know God is very much aware of you and the circumstances you're facing at this time. I connect a lot better with God when I pray to Him and read His words through the scriptures. God bless
Thank you so much for this video. It helped me, and remembered me that some
times I might feel alone or sad, but my Father in Heaven will always be
there for me.
After the storm reminds me when my ex left me and my kids for another
woman. I was lost of what to do, whos going to watch my kids when im
working. But thank God that he sent the holy spirit to remind me to trust
in him and he will take care of me and the children. Although I struggled
many times to provide for my family I never gave up my trust in Heavenly
Father's Love. Yes, after the storm we made it with on our side.
+Tiana Uhi I'd like to know more about you, sorry I'm curious, bcos there is a friend of mine that is facing a divorce at the age of 40, her husband left her for another woman, I noticed that it happens very often, so that's why I'd like to know:, did you find another husband? how have your kids reacted over the years?, are you happy now? sorry if they are too personal questions, I just want to know if there is a light after the storm
Thank you for this video. I needed the reminder that I am not alone. I'm
going through some hard things right now, and I'm grateful to have the
knowledge that everything is going to be okay. :)
President Gordon B. Hinckley recalls a story of an older boy and his young companion as they find an old coat and a badly worn pair of shoes by the roadside.
+Jacob101 I once read that the dislike button was more like Dis I like. (Slang for this I like.) But click the like button so people won't get confused. :3Also they probably weren't in there Right mind.
This is Beautiful. Im not mormon. i do believe in Christ & this emotion
after watching this video is the soul & heart of Christ. You can truly feel
the love of Christ & the connection to all living things.
Jim bomb Chang,Tom Pearson. I know that God lives and that his son who is my older brother died for you and i. i know his gospel is true and has the everlasting message. I will urge you to search the truth in him and not in any human, i know he will touch your heart and he will lead and guide you to the truth. God bless you all.
+Martin Espindola , That is the voice of the lord speaking to your heart, telling you that the gospel is true. Am glad you feel the love of christ and the connection to all living things. That feeling is a confirmation of the restored gospel. Please if you haven't yet, look for the missionaries. They have a message that will bless your life now and forever, especially ask them about lesson 1 and 2, it is my favorite. I know the gospel is true, i know the savior died for us and i know his love is for us to feel and you too can feel that peace if you listen to his servants. May the good Lord bless you and your family to see the truth. Amen

I am inspired. There are still good people in the World! This brings me so
much joy. I also have MS and one day I saw this Ted Talk of a Dr. who
recovered form MS using food. I decided to try it and I got my health back
too. We truly are what we eat! Please pass this onto Cathy.

I LOVED this! I want to even pose a question we have had in our ward how
can we help others and serve like the Savior, but also not get taken
advantage of or have it just be expected that we give? That might sound bad
and if anyone has had that kind of experience I would love to hear?
+Kate Mayes I think a lot of people have felt like that and understand where you're coming from. I guess the best suggestion I have is to think how the Savior would handle the situation. Sometimes it helps to pray about the specific situation and ask for help.
I believe that he was quoting from Spencer W. Kimball from the First Presidency Message in the December 1974 issue of the Ensign during the Sep 2014 CES Devotional at Brigham Young University.

Incase anyone is wondering what your worth is... remember this... even if
you don't believe it right now. You do not need to wait for ANYONE to tell
you what you are worth. You are not an item that's needs to be appraised
and put up for auction waiting for someone to buy you with what they are
willing to pay for you. You have already been appraised and bought.
Appraised by Heavenly Father who is the Father of YOUR Spirit and bought
with the life and blood of Jesus Christ. No one else but Him has that kind
of buying power and He paid FULL price for YOU, me, and for everyone so
that no one else could buy our souls for less than what we are really
worth. Believe that, no matter how hard it is to believe right now... have
hope that it's true, it will grow into faith and then into a rock solid
testimony.
Thanks. That's just what I needed to hear right now.
President Dieter F. Uchtdorf - Continue in Patience
"The lessons we learn from patience will cultivate our character, lift our lives, and heighten our happiness." President Dieter F. Uchtdorf speaks at the Priesthood ...
July 10, 2013, Resent not evil...... Do not resent Evil because it is the
Evil devil who wants you to resent him, he wants you to resent, get upset,
angry, mean or mad........Yet GOD wants you to be Patient and give up all
resentments in the moment that they may be felt in your own heart or mind
and behavior......GOD is the Author of Patience......
I love the members of the 12 and the First Presidency. President Uchtdorf
is so spiritual and intelligent. However, he seems so down to Earth at the
same time. I've never met him. But I'd sure like to run into him sometime
and shake his hand.
By far, this is my favorite talk of all time. I can't even tell you how
many times I've come back to listen to it, read it, and absorb it into my
life! Amazing true doctrine!
