Thank you for your insights, Rooster. It is always a pleasure to be "put in our place" on a channel for black women open to multi-cultural dating. Most women on this channel don't care...date/ marry whomever you choose. We will do the same. Also, the study that showed both black men and women to be undesirable was based on one online dating site. The data is not realistic to the real world. There are amazing black  men and women out there. Many black women are feminine, love their husbands/ boyfriends, and are not the stereotype you have created in your head. On the same note, all black men are not overly masculine. The over-sexual stereotype of black men has been mistaken for masculinity (by black men).  All women in the study, except black women, replied most to white men because their stereotype is that they are "real" men and providers. As for us, ladies, we need to spot the signs of these "users" before relationships get too far. There are so many selfish men out there with serious issues. It is important to weed out the great guys from the ones not worth any of your time. I feel sorry for the girl in the scenario because she probably thought she snagged a good one. Notice the signs. Ask the important questions to figure out his views on marriage, dating, living together, etc. Beyond that, don't try to change a man. He is who he is and you have to accept that or leave it alone.
