i am a jamaican living in the usa i went to the water commission office and ask for my water to be metered or disconnected and was told after one more month it would be done and after two years i am still paying water bill and no one lives at the house as i am writing this comment i got a call that a notice is on the gate that i owe $50.000

I highly doubt the poor like seeing their tax dollars go to military spending. Hell I don't like my tax dollars going subsidize roads I may only use once in my life. Maybe if the government subsidized transit systems from the begining like they did oil and roads we may have this problem today. The systems built 100+ years ago with private funds would still be operating

I had to turn it off. This has to be playied back to these people. In a few years after the line opens. It's like the anti-rail group in Bloomington, Minneasota (Minneapolis) you don't hear from them anymore either. The elected anti rail people have all been thrown out of office there just after the line opened. Norfolk,Va just opened a run a way success!
