@Yashwanth:- if I made my pendrive bootable using window 7 bootsect.exe then can I use same pendrive for windows 8 without doing any changes in it? Or do I need to make pendrive bootable using window 8 bootsect.exe file?

Hi... while working with the command prompt.. everything goes fine.. but at last when i type in " format fs=ntfs" it is being in " 0 percent completed" state for long time. could you please help on that too.

@neelthehotboy100 If you want to make windows xp then use wintoflash software to make it bootable.....

Help! I followed uour instructions and managed to make my bootable flash drive.Now i just can't seem to find the windows 7 file on my netbook (i dont have the cd and no cd drive either) to save it to the flash drive and go from there formatting the laptop and reinstalling windows 7 again.do you know where the file (came already embedded in the laptop since it has no cd drive) is usually stored on netbooks? Mine is an Asus. Thanks a lot

Actually i just found a file on my c drive named "windows". It's huge, 17.2 GB! Is this the file I'm supposed to save on the flash drive to later reinstall windows 7? I'm sorry, I'm not gifted (to say the least) for computer stuff

Bro for which purpose u want to make flash drive, i have 2 method of flash drive, this should work may be u have some problem at flash drive or any command is not working, try again wish u good luck : )
