celkon a95 or micromax a52? both have almost same specs since i have a budget of 5-6k these two are my only options for an android based phone. I dont know if its word of mouth but i have heard these indian or chinese based companies have bad hardware and they tend to heat up plus they wont last long , is it the case ?

Hai bro it depends if u want a better phone with good cam nd front cam then u can buy this bt one thing is tht micromax has 150mb internal memory nd celkon has 102mb nd the cost is less.... Nw it deepened upon u..

Sandesh new models of mobiles keep coming every month with new features etc, so there is no point feeling bad coz if you do that you can never buy a mobile the HTC explorer is still a decent budget android phone from HTC. This phone +ve aspects is that it's having front facing camera (which works with skype +3G video calls) and LED flash which are generally not present on such low priced android phones.

all android apps are supported in this phone. only one issue I faced was low internal memory, but u can increase it as ur need by partitioning ur sd card, and with the help of link2sd app. u will need to root ur a95 for this advantage. 3g speed is awesome on aircel upto 500 kbps, camera is good. what u can expect more than these features in Rs. 4500 only?

RAM is just 256 MB as that is the case in most of the other low budget android phones. @Rahul Nag: As the RAM is just 256 MB it wont play all HD games, but you can easily casual gaming like Angry birds, Amazing alex, fruit ninja and many other games, but wont be able to play high end 3D games, BTW I just tested Skype and was able to make video calls.

Check the Karbonn A18 if you are not okay with local brands, then the best bet is Sony Tipo but the screen and the processor are a bit weak.

hi akshay, great video man, your video helped me a lot to know about the phone and h have purchased it 20 days ago, i just want to know a few things from the celkon a95 users, whenever i install any application that needs the magnetic sensor such as compass, then an error is flashed that "magnetic sensor error"or is not working, so i just want to know that does this phone actually come with a magnetic sensor or is it a problem with my device only... your reply is awaited... thanks...:)

yesterday i bought a95.the touch response is awesome,it is equal to galaxy pop.gangstar and avatar games are working smoothly.launchers like launcher7(windows look),go launcher,espier launcher(iphone look) are working fine.youtube videos are playing but videos from heavy websites are not playing.it has no flash player but i downloaded firefox browser.in this browser we can stream the videos even in big websites.

Hi Akshay this is deepak again, thanks for the detailed video... :) My one N only doubt is , i have this DELL BH200 Bluetooth 2.0 Stereo Headset for music, it works fine with my nokia 5610 coz it has A2DP, but how can i know does that headset work with this phone? :( nowhere mentioned that A95 supports A2DP :( .......

hi any one know about inter net speed. i.e HSDPA speed. if we connect any phone to system to use internet, the maximum speed of the phone modem is displayed. for example i an using Lg T 325 . when i connect it to PC it shows 3.6 mbps net is connected.

battery backup ... 1- when plying games it comes 3-4 hr 2-when using the net through wifi it comes 4 hr 3-if simply only calling then it comes with the talk time of 8-9 hr.(depends upon the use )

MC3 and MC4 I did not test, I am not a big gamer just tested it with a few games Nova 3 could not run may be coz of the internal storage I had quite a few apps already installed when I tried Nova 3. In-fact if you see my gaming review of the MMX A116 I tried quite a few HD games and they could also not run on MMX A116 for example Asphalt 6/7 the latest Need of speed etc coz of storage issues.

Hey ranjit I know the question I am going to ask is quite off bit,and also not sure about reply. But can't heal it.I know that you are using galaxy nexus. I also have the same. but while gaming on it for 15minutes or watching videos for 20 minutes the back of Gnex get heated around the rear camera. What could be the reason. Under 17K you can check LG optimus L9 very good phone, I will post gaming review for that in a day or two, also you can check Micromax A116 again problem with all these budget and mid-range phones is that they have low internal storage so you cannot install many heavy games.

Yes it does and I noticed that after 4.1 and even the new 4.2.2 update it tends to heat a little bit quicker than it used to earlier, but I even have the S3 and t I see the same behavior with that also in-fact most of the high end phones I see a similar pattern.

Yep if you do international shipping the courier guys would add custom duties and the duties are very erratic nothing consistent, for example one of my friends go a tablet shipped from US and he had to pay Rs 8K as customs shipping to the courier guys.

I haven't tested many phones under the Rs 10K pricing for the last several months so still the Celkon A200 or Karbonn A18 are among my choices as of now, will try to do another budget phone review under Rs 10K by the end of the month.

Is this your first android phone, all android phones particular the back heat a little bit when using them it gets warm it's normal, if your phone is getting hot then it's a problem get it checked, warm is normal.

try not to ship it, if anyone's coming down ask them to bring it along, I tried shipping an s3 from sydney and the guys @ dhl said it would cost about 4-5k plus customs which can be anywhere between 3 - 7k
