Chevy Cobalt SS vs. 09 WRX, Mazdaspeed 3, and Four Other Sport Compacts - CAR and DRIVER
Dirty speed, done dirt cheap: Having trouble finding driving thrills at a reasonable price? Slip into one of these seven hot compacts. Chevy Cobalt SS vs. Honda ...
I have absolutely no idea why Honda SI sells so well with there being all
these better cars. You can't say reliability because all these cars are
great reliable cars. The only thing i like about the civic SI is sound of
the v tec.
Little do the wrx owners kno that with one bolt on with my ms3 I will smoke
you on any terrain and the ms3 handles awhole lot better, and looks awhole
lot better, subura owners eat
Let me stop you right there they have 220whp that is wheel horsepower num nuts 265 is crank hp shows how dumb you are, You would bet wrong I have all 3 JBR 88 duro mounts torque steer so no longer an issue. Please do your research the moment you said 265hp it made me laugh.
+BrentEvans08 ok brent, u must be talking about the 02 model WRX cause anything newer then 09 has STOCK 265 hp the VF52 turbo. the STI has 305. u either raced someone that had no idea how to drive a stick, or they had a much older version of the car, also were u rolling already because the big advantage is launching in a WRX due to AWD. i have no idea where the hell you got thoughs numbers though. care to explain? Next thing i would say is in that FWD car once u put power into her how bad is the torque steer and stability in it now, i would bet money its shit.
+b ham mmm not really I mean I beat a stock wrx with my stock speed 3 by car lengths and when I slapped bolt ons on I walked on the sti as well so wrx is in the range of 220 whp which lets be honest is not alot and the sti is right around 240-245 whp which for the prices is not very good.
+b ham Exactly. on my wrx I had difficulty installing my downpipe and then even more difficulty finding the obd port to plug in my Cobb and select stage 2. But for all of that hair-pulling, I was rewarded with 40whp and 70wtq.
+ENDxGamezZ "Subies actually don't make good power not even STis." this statement is just foolish haha. Subies make great power for the cost. BUT the fact u say modding rubies is a pain and expensive shows u have never worked on them. They have tons of room to move and add larger parts and parts are VERY easy to find and relatively cheap. unless you are hitting all perrin and COBB parts for your car. And just so u know evo and sti are VERY similar cars in forms of power, control, awd etc. I like MS3's, i just don't know where u got modding subbies to 1 be expensive and 2 not putting out good power. Both of these statements are false hah
Subies actually don't make good power not even STis. Yes they handle amazing and yes they will beat an ms3 on other terrains. Modding subies is a pain and could be expensive, rather buy an evo tbh.
right but you dont know how easy it is for the wrx to upgrade as well, which leaves your comment looking stupid. the looks are mediocre and it does not handle better. subarus can smoke an ms3 on any terrain.
Chevrolet Camaro SS--Chicago Cars Direct HD
Test drive and walkaround of a 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 SS from Chicago Cars Direct.
Did he really just slam both doors on this classic? What a fucking idiot.
He wouldn't be slamming the fuck out the doors if it was his. Makes no
sense at all... It had 19k on it I'm sure the doors seal perfectly.
+Blake Moff Okay, yeah the new V6 Camry's are pretty fast for that kind of car. I never said that this Camaro will smoke any new performance car out there. I just said that it's still very quick for it's age and will give them "a run for their money". Even looking past that, this car will always be a classic no matter what dude. Don't tell me a 5 second 0-60 is slow, because it's not slow at all. I'm not trying to be a muscle car fanboy because i'm a car enthusiast and can appreciate and enjoy any kind of car for what they are. Yeah, sure a 2015 LS3 Camaro is going to blow the doors off it, but then again, your talking about an evolution of performance and new technology in the new version of that car. I'm just trying to say that this old Camaro is still fast for it's age. So don't tell me i'm ignorantly defending a car because I know the potential of it. And rephrasing the last line of my response before isn't cool man. Look, i'm not trying to make enemies here, but I don't like when people bash older cars just because they aren't at the same technological level like the new ones.
The 2015 Toyota camry XSE V6 Does 0-60 in 5.3. I'm sure for when it was new it was quick buy in today's standards for a sports car, no it's not fast or quick. A 2015 camaro SS will tear it up in a straight line.... You really should read up on your cars befor you start ignorantly defending a car.
+Blake Moff 0-60 times for this car is around the early 5 seconds range, not slow at all by any means dude. With an LS1 V8 motor that's paired to a Hurst 6-speed, this car rips pretty good and would be a blast to drive for sure. And on top of that, this car is most certainly approaching the classic car category, especially with some of it's more rare options as stated in the video. And believe me, this car would give a lot of modern performance cars a run for their money still. Don't know if you are trolling or not, but you really should read up on your cars before you start ignorantly bashing them. Cheers mate ;)
I have Owned One... I will One Again before I pass.
