Dear Police: I have several reality checks regarding this civil war we are engaged in that you might want to heed. As a war veteran I speak from experience too. 1. Use live ammunition. No organized enemy army is afraid of rubber bullets or pepper balls. 2. Tear gas and OC spray only works to clear people from structures, it doesn't work on crowds out in the open. Flashbangs, rubber ball dispensing grenades, or the more lethal white phosphorus grenades are much more effective. 3. Distract them by pressing their front lines with aggressive posturing and obnoxious shield banging noises, then mercilessly ambush the center of the column as it marches forward, they never expect a punch in the gut. As an experienced OPFOR NCOIC with experience in numerous scenarios I have found that ambushes that attack the center while distracting the forward elements tend to have no effective tactical counter solution. Survivors panic and are forced to scatter in all directions in a typical every man for himself routine. 4. Stop treating these rich hippy anarchist kids with kiddie gloves.
