I want to remove the plastic lip above the bottom bin (and below the other 3 bins) as there is some discoloured liquid trapped there. How do I do this?

You did not show the hard part i.e. how did you clean inside part of the coil. I know it was never designed to clean that easy. If you clean every part of the coils once a year then the refrigerator will last too long which all these appliance companies do not want!!!

Did you ever find a way to clean the inner coils? the way the coils are laid out makes cleaning these refrigerator condenser coils a lot more difficult...

Joseph, yes, i end up using baby bottle brushes. I attached an Amazon link to what i used. you can use something similar.

We used compressed air to blow out the dust we could not reach, the re-vacuum.

Don't buy LG. Had problems with the in-door icemaker since right after the warranty expired & problems continue 3+ years later. Fridge cost me $2500 and I've spent almost $500 on repairs. I now have to use a blow dryer on the water line almost every day!
