N Scale Union Pacific Layout Overview
This is a general overview of the N scale model train layout constructed by Daryl Kruse. The layout depicts the Union Pacific Railroad across Northern Illinois on ...
I see you use code 55 rail is that working good and what would u consider
me do if I have a collection of code 80 ,over 50 turnouts and 200 feet of
flex ..I know the code 55 offers many curve rad and many turnout choices
for prototype lookin track but is it cost affective for me to convert when
i wont get but half as much as i spent on the turnouts and track and my new
layout will need lots of track its not a speggetti bowl no more
WWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!! Great work! It's almost done! I think it's
perfect. I'm curious to know how do you manage 3 trains on the same line
without crashing them. I mean, have you a sort of "speed limitator" or
"sensors" on the line or the traffic lights work as in real...sorry if I
ask you these things that you maybe have already talked about, but I'm
following your project for not so long ago.
Ballasting is not my favorite thing. I really should ballast the rest of
the mainline next, but will likely work on some warehouses for proviso
instead. I'm pretty confident however that the mainline will be completely
ballasted sometime in 2012. Maybe this summer.
AWESOME, EXCELLENT AND PERFECT. You filmed the layout in a way that we can
see it from an overall view. I just wish i had the space to make a layout
like yours. Keep up the good work and hope to see more of the layout in the
future.
That's a decision only you can make. Code 55 will definitely look more
realistic. But is it worth the price when you already have lots of code 80
on hand? That's up to you. I personally would still go with code 55.
great layout just like the last one also the overall progress on such a
large layout so fast is astonishing, hand laid turnouts , signals good
level of scenery every where a large scratch built bridge .......
absolutely amazing this layout is incredible!!!! great work i wish there
was people around where i live that could show me and help me build a model
railroad as good as this one!
Thanks for your honest answer yeah I know it would be better ok I will see
what i can do about selling the code 80 and start buying the 55 and yeah it
is worth it
Terrific job! I especially like the Rochelle RR park, pretty accurate. What
the overall size of your basement/layout? Makes me wish I was in N scale!
Got my sub.
The final camp of 2011 is host to the start of intense physical training and the drive to constantly improve. Michael Kirkbride explains the goals of the December ...
Im thinkin about auditioning here. I live in So Cal, but lived in the
Wenatchee area for years and I wanna have an excuse to get back up to WA.
Is the staff super intense? in other words, are they yellers? and is the
audition packet super difficult?
wow---this is the first time I've seen this with the sound working!!!! We
did pretty good...I'm okay with that...can't wait to get it all better
tho!!!!
Silly "like" button... It only lets me hit it once :) AWESOME!
CSX V147 leads BRAND NEW Coal Hoppers to Miami
Select 1080p for the best viewing experience. If catching a brand new set of coal hoppers wasn't cool enough, engines 461 and 462 were leading this train!
That sure sounded like a train full of new cars. :-) Glad you were able to
get out in time to catch it, Rudy. I'm curious to see how many of those new
hoppers go back north all tagged up after spending a week or two in Miami.
It sure did, it sounded like a very long Amtrak going by! lol. I was really
happy to catch it, its been quite a while since I had been track side. Many
thanks, Ted, I really appreciate it!
Very, very nice sweet catch and love those new CSX coal hoppers nice speed
going fast like lighting and nice horn as well! 5 Stars Rudy and Fav'd and
nice lash up as well!
