There is apetition going around, a couple. One for reaserch for medical use, and another to legalize it for medical use. You can also petition the department of drug controll, for a waiver for medical use, but I do not believe anyone has gotten one yet, because you need a doctor to support the documents, and there is no local research... But there are thousands of studies done in the Western countries, USA, Canada, Europe, Austrailia, Germany...etc, that show MANY profound medical uses. There is a reason the USA is legalizing it to over 50% of the states and territories now. Several reasons. Prohibition NEVER works for anyone but the black market, and crooked politicians making big cash from it. It fosters corruption. Legal use like in 4 States now, takes ALL the black market money out of the equation. It frees up police, jails, and millions of dollars, of taxpayer money to enforce the laws, and generates BILLIONS in tax revenues. Of the millions upon millins of daily uses of it, there is less than one instance in a million, of a bad occurence. It is safer to use than eating peanuts. Proven. The studies done in the USA could be used as proof for its medical uses, and the data from the fully legal states, could be used as eveidence also. How it affects money, taxes,generats revenues, creates jobs, and helps millions of people with medicines. Its not just that it is good medicine for DOZENS of uses, from cancer , to arthritis, to depression, spasms, chronic pains, nervous ailments, digestive problems, migraine headaches....etc...But it is medicine that helps things other medicines CANT do much for. It also is MUCH cheaper , and safer to use, than most medicines, most of which have many horrible side effects. Prohibition here is costing the country a great deal in law enforcement, social injustices, lack of medical access to patients, and huge tax revenues, loss of tourism, and job creation. Many people AVOID the Philippines because it has the harshest laws in the world for it. Consider this: WHO do YOU know, or heard of, that has had a bad , serious or debilitating effect from using pot? Well medical strains of cannabis are not pot. They are bred to relieve target ailments for people with needs. Specific strains used for specific problems. Sure they get you high, make you feel god, and smile. Alcohol makes you stupid, lazy, and violent. Pot helps people get OFF of other drugs. If someone is going to use something as a habbit, it is best to be pot, than cocaine or booze. As the rest of the world advances, and grants the people more freedom in this regard, this nation is GOING to have to deal with the internation issues and pressures. Most doctors, and clergy support it medical uses. Most medical establishments and university studies support it. Worldwide. The arguments against it are already LOST. Smoking wild strains grown by drug dealers is garbage. Almost useless, except to get high, and often a headache, and to create illegal money. There are uses for oils, feed for animals, and textiles. Fuels, building supplies, and clothes. Foods. They need more support. And pot is NOT adictive. For some, it is HABBIT forming like tobacco. For most, it makes them fel better, so they choose to keep using it. I grew up in Wisconsin, and Michigan. I used it legaly for medicne in Michigan , and grew it. When I moved to Iloilo, I havent touched or seen it since. I have no withdrawal or problem without it. But now I have to use a bunch of other herbs and pills. It costs me a lot more, and is LESS effective. For many people Cannabis is the only thing that will help them. It should just be completely legal and taxed, like tobacco, and alcohol, and kept from minors. Thas my experience , and beliefe. I am retired now and on pension. Not a kid that just wants to get high. But whats wrong with smoking it in your own house just to relax? NOTHING .

NALOKO na.....mga pilipino kayo living here in the Philippines....dapat kahit anong mga plano, o gagawin ng mga tao sa loob ng bansa dapat it is base within the frame work and principle of the Philippine Constitution, no doubt....kong ayaw niyo then umalis kayo sa bansa at mag tayo kayo sa labas ng gusto ninyong sariling state outside the philippines...
