Travel Log to Greece - Days 11-13 - Crete

These are my days in Crete. Lots of history to tell you about, we got to stay in a beautiful hotel and i even got to drive around. Fun times!

Well, the greeks might have modern bus signs, but unfortunately their country is going bankrupt. Looks great, I need to go there next year.

the town is called Chania, and it's pronounced "Hahn-Ya". Chania is the second largest city on the island of Crete.

I visited Knossos in March. She didn't mention this but minoan people also lived around the palace.

Hi Shannon, Sorry it has taken awhile, Ive been traveling. Yes I did love Greece. Ive done both, 3 cruises and 2 land trips. If I had to pick, Id say Santorini is my favorite island. I stayed at a beautiful, albeit unusual hotel built (or chiseled) into the side of the caldera. Unbelievable beauty when the mist comes up from the Aegean Sea early in the morning. Sunsets are some of the best Ive seen. Im happy you liked the pictures and thank you, Steve
