I don't have much experience with rapid rise but I would first try to mix
it in with flour. You might have to wait a bit longer for the rising to
start but eventually the yeast should go. You could also try to follow the
recipe and just use a little less rapid rise yeast in place of the active
dry - it might take off a bit quickly.
