My fry love hiding in the baby hideout artificial plant. I crush the dry fish flakes and brine shrimp as food for them. Many survived and are growing big. Having hideout plant at the bottom and one floating on top helps a lot. I wouldn't suggest live plants now as cleaning of the tank gets tough in a community tank with real plant. But if you are gonna have a few get plants with fine blades in which fry can hide and the big fish will find tough to get into. Have some floating ones too.

I'm watching this so I know what to look for in my Blue Mickey Mouse Platy. She's due any day now and I'm just going to let her have them in my community 30 gallon. I usually go back with a net and catch them and put them in a breeding net so they don't get eaten. :)

I use to have two red wag plates a couple months back but the male died and the female looks like she swallowed a cherry tomato whole what kinda signs do I look for and long does it take to face her fry or to get pregnant

i just got 3 german rams a day ago and 2 of them have already paired up, ive been watching them off and on for the last 4 hours and they have been very protective of a skull cave i have in my tank,, i have a planted 55 gallon , is it possible for them to breed that quickly after being introduced to a new tank and what should i look for as far as spawning. thank you

They could spawn that quickly.   Two thing to watch for.   The females spawning tube will show just before and for a while after they spawn.   The second and more obvious thing is to watch for a cluster of eggs to be layed in the bottom of the skull.

You better not get near geese. Those mofos are crazy ass birds, just imagine how crazy they would get when they have a nest. Yesterday, me and a friend with her son passed by a swan's nest. The daddy swan was on high alert when we walked by, camping a distance away from the nest where momma swan was guarding the eggs.
