Hey! Great video! Have a question for you.. If I have a small piece of
fabric that I want to make a custom rhinestone template for (example a
rose) and make it fit perfect inside the swathes (example a glove)... how
can I do that? I guess I need the pix scan mat? Do you have a tutorial for
that? In this one you used vinyl and fitted it with text.. And I would love
to know how I can make this with a customised figure instead :)
Thanks BR Sylvia
And BTW: Which picscan mat is the biggest one for the cameo?
+Sylvia F. Hey, thanks for explaining. Well we would have to do a bit more research to see if it will work. It is going to be extremely difficult because you're working with a 3D image that will be transformed once you scan it. Unfortunately, you wouldn't be able to take any of the curvature of the glove into account. TRW Erika
Thanks for maga fast answer.. But let me explain better what i mean.. This is what i hope the ultimate edition can do for me... so..Can i put the glove on the pixscan mat… take å photo and upload the photo in to the software… then make a rhinestone template/stencil and place it on the gloves actually size to make it fit the glove perfectly when I cut out the Rhinestone stencil? Is that possible? Will the studio know the gloves size when I calibrate my cam or pixscan mat? I understand if this is a difficult question ;)Thanks for your time! ;)
+Sylvia F. Hello Sylvia, Thank you for your email. We mostly work with vinyl and sticky flock material. Therefore, we do not have any videos with fabric. I know that it is very doable. You would definitely want the fabric to be secured to the mat so that it doesn't move around while you're cutting. This is probably the best match to the picscan mat that you are looking for: //www.silhouetteamerica.com/shop/blades-and-mats/CUT-MAT-PIX12-3T. TRW Erika
You mentioned in the video that you upload pictures from your phone to your
computer. Do you have any videos showing how to do this? I also have an
iphone and I have to e-mail the picture and then save it to my computer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for this video. Very
informative.
+Darlene Niederschulte Hey Darlene, we do not have any videos on this as this is just a function of any smart phone. You will just need to take a picture from your phone using the PixScan app and it will download to your computer. Otherwise, what you can do is take a picture on your phone and then email it from your phone to yourself and download it from your desktop. :) TRW Nick
