Any energy produced with your generator is directly extracted from water's
velocity...which is produced by the pumps at the water dispatch station.
Therefore, any electricty you "make" has to be compensated by the supply
network to keep a constant pressure at the user end.
As is, if you pop this in a network, users will have less pressure and
output.
Also, since water is a public utility, end users will end up paying the
bill.
The ONLY place where this is an excellent idea, is completely gravity fed
systems...I know for a fact that Montréal for example, a pretty huge city,
isn't.
Am I missing something?
