+Elizabeth Grinchenko it should be fine. sometimes i do reduce the amount of sugar and it still tastes great! and using different chocolate shouldn't make it taste different. i see other people who use milk chocolate on their tutorilas. hope this helped.

I just tried your recipe today, followed everything the same way but the
brownies came out such a failure! When I mixed the melted chocolate butter
mix with the rest of the ingredients, its just became super oily. The
overall texture was very grainy, it didn't really come together. Used
ghirardeli bittersweet chocolates. :(
+fsxix I think she left out a step. The ending texture (thick) of her batter was VERY different from the beginning (thin). She did something to thicken it. i wish she had demonstrated that part of the process.
