Hi Johnny Garcia. It's over a year now since this video. How has the Black
and Decker been holding up? How often do you use it? Great vid, by the way.
. .
+Hazel Griffith - Glad you asked, first of all I use the Air Fryer 4 to 5 times a week. Usually for 10 to 20 minutes. The most time I have used it was for 30 minutes because I had a whole chicken that I wanted crispy. It still looks new and when compared to the Phillips to clean, I found that the B&D was easier to clean because the bottom of the outer canister is flat vs waves that the phillips has installed in theirs which makes cleaning more difficult. These waves are supposed to move the air through the food and cook faster but as you can see in my video, that wasn’t an issue. I am thrilled that this method of cooking is still in its infancy when looking at the benefits of using little or no oil. Thanks for your comments, I also made another video where I compared Air Frying with Induction cooking, This is are the two methods I use to cook on a daily basis. Bye
+Mike Evans - Mike let me inform you that chicken wings and other chicken parts come out great when cooked in an Air Fryer. I cook chicken once or twice weekly in my air fryer.
Oh mate this is the damn best video on air fryers, well done all round.
Good comparison between the two models and took us along for the ride
showing the meat cooked at different stages. Do you think the phillips has
better build quality?
+Hat cck Hat sorry for the delay. There are so many models out there that you need to look at what is convenient for you. Bottom line is that Air Frying as well as Induction Cooking is the future. I am about to do one on Induction cooking since I've changed all my pots and pans for this type of cooking which is 70 to 80% faster than conventional cooking. As far as Air Frying, I use my air fryer 3 to 5 times a week. and yes Phillips has a better built quality but as I said, there are so many other machines out there than you need to shop around. Keep in touch for my next video. Thanks.
+bruce p Bruce you are more daring that I am, boiling eggs in an Air Fryer? I've got to try this!! Thanks for your input in keeping our friends informed.
I got me a Farberware air fryer at Wal-Mart and made some frozen steak
fries and they turned out great! Tomorrow, I'm going to cook some popcorn
chicken in it and see how that turns out. Where I live, I've seen the
non-digital Phillips air fryer at Bed, Bath, and Beyond as well as Best Buy
and it was about $200 at both places. At Wal-Mart, the Farberware air fryer
was $79 and it worked great! Of course, I've only used it once so far, but
if first impressions are any indication, I'd say if you want an air fryer
that's a little more cost-efficient, the Farberware air fryer seems to work
just as good.
+BravesAvsFan Very good update. But I am surprised that there is not much of selection of Air Fryers in the major stores. I don't know this brand but just about any air fryer will work much better than gas or electric stoves. But watching Steve (Mis Universe) Harvey, he gave away a hot water fryer to the audience, this has got to be the worst gift anyone can get. To cook you must insert the food inside a plastic bag and seal the content. Terrible, I'll stick to Air Frying and also, if you haven't tried it, Induction cooking. See you.

It IS ok to eat raw wings, unless you are accustomed to cooking you food
(as are most humans), in which case raw meat will make you sicker than a
dog.
