head tilt.MP4
Our 7 month old son. He recently developed a "tilt" to the right side (very consistent) of his body. In this clip, he tilts 6 times in about 4 minutes. We have taken him ...
Sorry for the late reply! We took him to a pediatric neurologist and did
all kinds of brain wave testing +++ ($1800 worth after insurance) which
turned out negative across the board. Very thankful. The neurologist was a
great doctor, but his opinion was "I don't know". So, I took my son to a
friend who does a lot of massage therapy. They had 4 sessions together over
a month or so. During 3rd mtg something "popped"- then he never tilted
again! It could be muscular...but try all avenues!
Our 7-month-old daughter has been doing something similar the past couple
of days. We are contacting our neurologist, just because she was diagnosed
with Infantile Spasms 2 1/2 months ago, and we are wanting to rule anything
out. If anyone else's children are having similar spasms, please see our
video of our daughter Gabby having her spasms (not trying to scare anyone,
just hoping to create awareness and hopefully rule IS out for anyone else).
Hope your son continues to do better.
I'm so happy for you! You've got a very cute baby by the way! My little
girl stopped doing the tilt. I did some massage a few times and made sure
she slept in a way that would stretch the muscles that could be tight.
Saved me the trip to the neurologist which I was ready to take! Thanks for
replying.
