We went to Evivia not long after this review posted and I'm surprised PG makes a note of the "shockingly low prices". We couldn't disagree more and found the prices higher than surrounding restaurants of comparable quality. Many reviews on Yelp also note issues with the wait staff and we encountered the same. Our waitress would disappear around the back side of the center kitchen area and forget us as she chatted with co-workers. I understand young people have a different sense of time, and management should address this as people want good service when paying such prices. Management would benefit from checking out the reviews on Yelp - so many mention this issue. Time between courses was agonizingly slow the day of our visit. It took 20 minutes just to get water after we were seated (the only thing to happen quickly). This was our first visit to Eviva with high hopes of adding a new restaurant to our usual list. We were a little surprised when we walked in, not having seen pictures of the place prior. The decor is more that of a lunch place - very casual with table and chairs and high tops (no booths) and a bar with many big screen TVs. Hard flooring and high ceilings make for a very noisy ambiance. Don't go here expecting a quiet or romantic dining experience. Food was good, but all things taken into consideration, I don't know that we'll be back. We'll check Yelp again in 6 months and see if the waitstaff issues have improved and though they probably wouldn't do it, carpeting could make a huge improvement in the noise level.
