This man get's to wind up, he is studdering too much and he lack the
calmness of a psychopath. I don't see the grandios personality either. No
he is not a psychopath. Sam Vaknin one of the biggest writers about
narcissism/psychopathy is a psychopath himself. Check Sam Vaknin up and
look at his eyes and how he speaks.. That is a true psychopath.

+kilafice What I've read from Confessions of a sociopath m.e strikes me as one and the interveiws I've listened to. Was it really the real m.e thomas which was featured in Dr.Phils show? She had a blond wig and her voice did not sound the same as in those interviews I listened to. Dr.Phil suspected that she was a scam artist didn't he? According to Sam Vaknin a psycopath is more predictible than the narcissist. A psycopath wants money and power, that's all they need. A narcissist want narcisstic supply to strengthen his false grandios self. There are no limitations how far a narcissist will go to do this, a narcissist is a six-year old child in a adults body.

+gustav Lewin yeah i finished watching wayne and bundy and you're right i could clearly tell the difference between them and fallon .. and fallon i believe may be a borderline sociopath and he is definitely a narcissist as well.. and sociopaths are usually narcisissits but i may be wrong.. and M.E., after reading her story,(i really enjoyed the book too) i think she is definitely a sociopath considering she is guided by an artificial moral compass.

+gustav Lewin The show is deleted from Dr.Phils website but I saw the promo of it and I doubt that m.e is one, more likely a narcissist. Check out Wayne: criminal psycopath out on Youtube, he scored 40/40 on the psycopathy checklist. He seems like a regular dude, very good at talking and he have that unusual charm that they posses. Or else check out Ted Bundy's last interview, sociopaths are remakably good at acting normal and too nice, the last people you'd suspect probably is one. Compare Wayne's and Ted Bundy's interview to this one with James Fallon and you'll get what I mean.

+kilaficeIndeed, I listened to a radio show with Michael Cross where m:e thomas is featured. m.e thomas says that she prefers the term sociopath because psycopath makes it sound like she is "crazy" and she does not like that. It would be interesting to see the show with Dr.Phil and M.e Thomas :-) I'll try to find it.

+gustav Lewin exactly, the definitive definition of pyschopaths/sociopaths is unclear... and "evil" is a relative term... i have seen an interview with dr phil online but i can't seem to find it anymore hmm... its interesting because she also accuses Dr Phil of being a sociopath as well as he exhibits the traits of a sociopath... she also says that there is a distinction between psychopaths and sociopaths albeit a blurred one.

I have not read her book and I have not seen her live at the web. So it is hard for me to read her body language but she is claiming the fact that sociopaths are regular people without empathy. According to Sam Vaknin, Psycopaths/sociopaths are usually career criminals because they lack impulse controll and some psycopaths are sadists. Robert Hares study about psycopaths is that they are pure evil and is always using people for their own benefits.

I gravitate around each of the 4 cluster B disorders. I seem to stick more
to Histrionic than Antisocial, but when I get annoyed and moody, I act like
someone who has Antisocial. I certainly have all it would take to make a
psychopath, but I guess I haven't sunk that far yet.
