07 Evil Minion Demo/ Review is in the info!!
I won't be reviewing this gun through video so here it is... The gun is over-all great. I know it's kinda like a PM7, but it shows a little more workmanship than the ...
hmmm... well, the minion is an up'd pm7, but this isnt one of ur fake
special kinds. This is how all minions are. Evil took a pm7, and put a few
things on it and tweeked the board. the gun in the video is an evil minion.
thats it. not a pm7/ minion or any of that. as for the bolt assembly, it is
a standard dye/ proto spool valve bolt. the hyper 2 comes with ALL 07 evil
minions and so does the asa.
the 07 minion is pretty much a private lable pm 7....well it is....evil
made a deal with proto to put there name on the side of one of there
markers and change the milling...spliting the deal 50/50.....i also own one
of these guns with ul frame and much more ups...these guns shoot ropes....!
the 07 Evil Minion is a Pm7 with different milling, barrel, eye plates, and
an evil e on the asa and those are the only differences, internally the
Minion is exactly the same as a Pm7 and all Evil Minions come with proto
grips and the same goes with 06 Evil Minions
yes there is. evil and proto worked on it together look at the pm7 it has
the lpr poking out like the pm7 it also has the same hyper 2 reg on it and
the asa's are identical and the proto grips fit it and they both have the
same bolt assembly
An 07 Evil Minion is an amazing gun. If you have a Hatred Board, a 1 piece
CP barrel, or a 2 Piece 16" barrel (dye or bob long, freak is really good)
with Virtue pm7 Eyes this gun is a dream and one of the classics.
hahaha, phil. that guy called it a pm7/ minion. and i told him there was no
such thing. lol. it was a technicallity and i think i had a bad day that
day because i was being an ass hole :D
no. its not. its an 07 evil minion. he put the proto grips on it, and its
an evil asa. it also says minion on the side and has the evil "e". there is
no such thing as a pm7/ minion.
I wish Ruger would make a Bearcat Convertible. I know there was a small
number produced and later recalled but I still wish their engineers would
find a way to keep the lawyers happy and get that pistol into my hands. If
not that, I want a Single Nine Convertible.
Years ago, Ruger made a few of those, recalled them, and say they'll make no more. The ones that were not sent back command high collector's prices today. I have two Hamilton Bowen custom 22LR/22MAG convertibles, and the first 32 conversion that Harton made. Wonderful little revolvers, as is this new one from Ruger. I love Bearcats.Boge
i have a question for ya jeff, the bearcat you have is from lipseys as you
said and has adj sights rugers website has not bearcat either standard or
dist exclusive with anything other than blade and grooved frame sight,
where is the one you have? i love that one and wish to purchase one.
They are available now, only from Lipsey's-affiliated dealers. If your dealer does not buy from Lipsey's, click the DEALER FINDER at www.lipseys.com.Boge
Jeff great review, you sound a a little under the weather hope you get
better. By the way tell your brother I dont think there is a more manly
name in the world than Boge Quinn, being your brother be honest was he born
with whiskers?
Thank you, sir. Jeff is getting over a nasty bout with the flu, but he's better now. He wasn't born with whiskers, but he started shaving when he was very young. Then he stopped!Boge
Jeff I have been following y'all from the start of your Gunblast magazine
now to your YouTube channel and your stuff is always first rate. I swear
the production quality is the best I have ever seen.
Just like your brother, I'm a bearcat nut too, so I will be getting this
gun right away :o) Thanks for the heads up.
ALL these new 22 cal rifle and pistols coming out and still no 22 LR on
the shelves regularly and at any type of normal price. There still has got
to be a better explanation for it. I don't believe its because there are
more gun owners. Maybe its still ammo hoarding but something still doesn't
seem right about the shortage.
I am having trouble finding 22lr as well only match grade on internet. What I am finding from good sources is that there is such a back log of orders that the ammunition companies have not filled and the demand has increased so they can't keep up.Rather then open new facilities to meet the increased demand the companies are concentrated on larger caliber ammo that they make greater profits on.I have found some reasonably priced 22 lr at local shooting range but only if you shoot there example 325 round pack for 22 dollars.I pack per session
+1guyin10 not everyone bought 22lr and the panic buying has died down enough that 22 lr should be on the shelves closer to normal. Ar-15s and AKs ect which are slower to make than ammo are everywhere now. Nothing but guns of all types everywhere now. 223 to 9mm plenty of those which people were panic buying are all back on shelves and similar priced if not the same price it was before. NO 22LR though. Fuddy dud people/dealers are buying it up and reselling it at higher prices on the internet and guys with big wallets are buying it up by the thousands. I don't think it has to do with more guns being out there as it does as much as people like the fuddys driving the prices up and buying up b4 it has a chance to make it to the shelves. Something is still up with the 22 LR. By this time ammo companies have grown their facilities to accommodate and still no 22 lr like normal. 223, 9mm 7.62x39 what most hoard are everywhere though. So your logic doesn't make sense in the current.
+monsterman27 So you don't think selling tens of millions of firearms while adding essentially no additional capacity for ammunition doesn't set up a situation where any panic at all strips the shelves? .22LR was getting a little thin before Sandy Hook.
+Texas HoldemI hate to block folks, but sometimes you have to. Most viewers recognize trolls for what they are, but if it gets repetitively abusive or vulgar, then I will block them. Just acting like an idiot isn't enough.Boge
+Machi74005 Sure, not a problem. www.wikiarms.com You get email notifications when ammo at the price you specify becomes available. Most of my ammo has come from Natchez.com, Cabelas.com and Midwayusa.com. Good luck. You will have to sign up for an account with wikiarms though. It's free.
+BattleScarGigantica You raise a very good point. A rep at a local FFL admitted to me that 22LR firearms sales have cratered in their store because of unavailability of ammo. No one can find good(key word) ammo, so just "screw it" seems to be the new motto.
