Our local radars here are KIND and TIDS. To get up close to KIND and TIDS,
you have to go down a bunch of backroads. Both are visible from I-70. KIND
is the dual-polarity radar and sits on the property of the NWS across from
Indianapolis International Airport, and TIDS is out in the sticks. It seems
to just pull basic reflectivity and velocity sweeps. One of these days, I'm
going to get back out to TIDS and shoot a video clip or two. Even though
it's fenced off, you can get pretty close to it.

WSR-88D KGRK is visable from the highway it sits next to. There's even a
pull off across the street from it.
