I rescue and rehome rabbits, guinea pigs and rats ... I wouldn't do this to any of my furbabies, I love them to much to see them fight for food like this, when they clearly don't need too. Would you do this to your children? The point of these animals being domesticated is that they do not need to live in survival mode and should have the comforts of being with humans who know better. It's the mindset of the human carer that determines the quality of care to those at their mercy.

If you own a rabbit you know they eat a lot if allowed. This was cute. In nature what do you think a litter would do with food? The little ones wouldn't get much food. She was putting runts on top :) so they could get food too. By letting them all eat the apple they don't get too much or too little. She would literally have to put rabbits in separate cages to not cause a feeding frenzy! Very sweet video.

They should each get equal amounts of food. You people make me sick. Fighting over food is barbaric, a discraceful thing to have to put these beautiful rabbits through. I suggest you change your attitude and treat them well, or you should sell them to better homes. Moron.

i have a house rabbit , these shouldn't be fighting for food they are starving !!! and that cage is to small for just one bun one rabbit one rabbit should have a space the smallest of 4 foot x 4 foot this is very sad i hope you are not a breeder

Pls don't keep them in a small cage, try to keep them a good spacious cage. My family love rabbit so much, when my rabbit died wife was crying for about a month n my 2 kids did not for about 2 days. Feed them well n look after them well.

Chill Wolfe, you have too much stress, they are happy bunnies, it's easier for them to eat the apple if there are multiples of them, why such hate? It's all good, more things to worry about in the world than some funny bunnies :)

actually, if they were any fatter they'd be in danger, my bunny eats a lot, but she's noot very fat, bunnies are supposed to be skinny, they look like they're fine to me, I've had two rabbits, although my new one is evil o.o

no it's not, they were playing, and it is cute, I'm sure they were making sure the bunnies were small that they put on top, also, I'm sure they made sure the bunnies weren't hurt, plus that's an orange, not an apple...

my Buns do the same thing..they eat their hay all day long never stop...when I bring in their greens they go crazy as if they have not eaten in weeks...lol...thats a lot of Buns you have...I have 3 indoor rabbits.

Hi! I'm about to get a soft coated wheaten terrier and i already have two holland lop rabbits who i love dearly and would never consider getting rid of. I"m just curious to know if you ever had any trouble with your dog and your bunny as terriers are small animal hunters by nature. I'm getting a puppy and intend to be very careful training them to get along, but i'm just curious about what i'm getting myself into! THANKS!
