Chicago factory workers take business over from bosses
Subscribe to our channel //bit.ly/AJSubscribe Amid the precarious jobs market in the US, a group of workers in one Chicago factory have taken matters into ...
Its people who eat eggs all the time with alien type heads like grown back
that figure that you should invest in real-estate like rental properties
then buy a factory or something that is the the proper way but its not
always good to be so perfect. If people are on government help anyway and
people are collecting that money to invest in factories wouldn't that be
the government anyway,it just both it doesn't have to be made into such a
big deal.
"cut costs substantially" ~ They can fire all the 'top parasites' as their
hearts desire, it still won't change the fact that Mexican Window Makers
can produce the same windows while paying their 'slaves' 1-2 USD per hour
for a full 10 hrs p. day and export them into USA. I'm not trying to be an
ass here, that's just economic reality of this worthless system we have. I
do wish these window makers luck...
No, its called collectivism. And only inside the company becouse it has to
compete in a capatalist market. It can do so becouse the shareholders take
less profit. The profit goes to the workers in the form of sallary, and
investment in the company such as training, education and implementation of
new techniques.
It's people like this that scare crap out of the Capitalists! Once workers
learn that they can do it themselves, without fat-cat CEO's, CFO's, EEO's,
siphoning off the billions in unearned capital they take, there's little
reason left for their existence. It's called real democracy in the
workplace!!
South America has been doing this for years. Horizontalism and cooperatives
are the wave of the future. Let's free ourselves and build a new world.
There's no one size fit all method. Many worlds will have to be built in
one and old realities will have to be destroyed.
Nobody is asking WHY this window business was being shut down to begin
with? If there was enough demand for these windows, it never would have
been closed...I do wish them well tho, just not economically viable in this
environment.
this is quite an opportunity someone should start big advertizing campaign
for their product, something that would show how this is possible. everyone
should know and consider buy from them if in need of such product
There was a big push all across America after the civil war for co ops but
the robber barons and government squashed that idea. The only resemblance
of it is the co op grain mills you see in ag states.
This is a very positive thing for a change, I hope they make a go of it.
When the workers are vested in the company or have ownership they will give
a 110% percent all the time God bless buy american.

Yes Exporting does exist, so why would anyone buy a USA window (USA wages)
when they can buy the same product from Mexico (Mexico wages) for half the
price?...
Now that they have gotten rid of all the parasites they should be able to
cut costs substantially, which will allow them to sell their product for
much less.

The No B.S Guide to Direct Social Work
Although I am not working a "Social Work" job currently, I still get questions about the day in the life. So I decided to make a video. THis one is focused on micro, ...
It was a very good video. I just got back from a short holiday up north
bird watching. I have to tell you I am of the opinion that you're so much
better off in South Korea if you've been watching the news. Is it possible
to do another type of work because it isn't so nice to teach year in, year
out. It's up to you. Remember if you return to the US you'll have to get a
car, a place to live (nice place), and finding a job? I must ask you do you
feel at all welcome in Korea and do you think that the turmoil with North
Korea will put your situation in jeopardy? Have you been getting lots of
sunshine?
+Trupie Griffin thank you. It is very very difficult for me to do any other type of work outside of teaching because I am not fluent in Korean. And I would go back to Chicago so I would not need a car. Also, I would have to work hard to get a job in the U.S, but it would be a "career" job and not "just" a job like teaching here. I am afraid teaching here is dead end for me. And nope, no one here is worried about Korea. It is not a threat at all right now. Its been beautiful and sunny weather these days! I am happy in Korea, but I was also happy in America overall, so I think rather I stay or leave I will be good :)
Thank you very much! This was very insightful. You gave a much more
detailed description than what I have seen on other sites that promote
social work. It actually sounds somewhat adventurous and rewarding, yet
highly stressful. I like the idea of facing new challenges each day---at
the same time---I like to have the resources to complete the tasks. Also,
making 30,000 dollars with a Master's degree is disheartening. I have been
on the fence about doing social work or school psychology. I have a while
before I have to actually make my decision, but you are giving high quality
information that will be pivotal in my decision. Good video!Thank you, I
will have to check out part two a little later.
