Good video and very good to see some tips on taking out the louvres. As far as I remember the MB repair manual shows the glass "should" come off the louvres and allow to fully repaint. As you said there's some fear into breaking that glass. When you repainted them what type of paint did you use? I seen many have the paint scale off in matter of months. Cheers

I used an oil base flat black paint, I tried a silver oil based paint to try & keep it like original, but it showed up too many marks. I literally couldn't remove the inside glass as it was glued in so tight that I started to chip the edges trying to get them out.That's when I decided that I didn't want to break them.
