why would you process twice? couldnt you just remove the fisheye... etc..
first then convert?

Solved: All I did was uninstall Cineform Studio, downloaded it and
installed it again. It now works as normal. It didn't work for jpg files
taken with my iPhone but I thought I read somewhere that Cineform only
works for jpg files taken from GoPro cameras. Correctly me if I'm wrong
please. The only thing I could think of that caused the issue is that I was
not up to date with my .NET Framework at the time I originally installed
Cineform Studio and this time I was. Hope this helps someone!
Kyle, Thank you for the 2.0 series. Learned lots of stuff from your videos
that simply did not seem obvious to me. I do have an issue however, and
would like to reach out to others that might have solved it. The issue I'm
having is when importing .jpg stills into step 1 I get an error that reads:
"Unable to play files. File may be corrupt or in an unsupported format."
the .jpg stills have been taken with a Hero 3 Black using the latest
firmware 3.03.
well, they have the new SuperView, the auto low light mode and better
battery life, but i agree not a that much of a differance, and its weird
that the new housing is just water proof to 40m instead of 60m like the
older models
I will get a video up later today with all my thoughts. But I am a bit
disappointed. From what I can tell the imaging processor has not changed.
All they have added is a new housing which is lighter than the old one.
Hi, your videos are very informative and thanks for the effort. I wanted to
ask how you managed to have the camera moving at a steady rate throughout
the time lapse?
Here's a quick GoPro Studio 2.0 Time Lapse tutorial. It's really as simple as importing all of your time lapse images, and converting them to an .AVI or .MOV file.
watch the video titled I Can't Stop Dreaming Freeride in Tahiti, which is a
Jet Ski video. I gotta learn how to get photos to move fast with the music
beat like that guy did. He is from France.
+Quick2000 Watch my other video: https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=EuXisXG3c5g Same thing applies to GoPro Studio. The razor tools is over to the bottom left.
I have like 6000 photos from a time lapse I did.....I cannot get them into
the studio software as a grouped video in order to even convert....I even
tried to creat a single folder with all the photos and tried import by
selecting the first photo and clocking open...the software does
nothing...any ideas??
yes I can import an image. Or if I select all the images in the time lapse folder they will import into the program. But then I have 6000 photos in the program, instead of what I see everyone else has, which is a single group of pictures. With singles then I have to move them to the conversions side and try to convert all of them one at a time, the computer freezes everytime at that point....but got to be some easier way...
Hi, I am on holiday and trying to grab a couple of timeless at
sunrise/sunset and around the resort but everytime I import between 200 -
300 photos into GoPro Studio it doesn't create a preview and exports a file
Hi Jeremy thanks for replying, randomly I tried it again after trying to mess around with Sony software and it worked grand. Very strange but all sorted now cheers
+eaglesham photography That's really weird. Are you importing into Studio directly from the card, or you saved the pictures to your computer first?

Hello!
At first, thanks for this awesome tutorial!
But i have a question:
Im gonna drive to italy soon, and im planning to make a timelapse Video
with my gopro 3+ Silver. I have a 32gb Card in the gopro, so what are you
guys recommendations for this kind of filming? im gonna put the gopro on
the Dashboard behind the windshield, for about 6-7hours. What are the
perfect "timelapse-settings" for a car and a drive this long? Thanks
+TheAirbus100 You might select a 10 sec interval and get 6 images per min, 360 per hr, and 2170 in 6 hrs. This setting might be good for long stretches of monotonous road or landscape. For more changeable landscape and smoother playback, select 5 sec or 2 sec. Just depends on what you want and how quickly your scene changes. You should have no trouble fitting on a 32 mb card.
For a time lapse thats 2 hours long, would you say its best to use time lapse mode or just take normal video and then speed it up? I want the final time lapse video to be at least 3 minutes.
+MattforApple Thanks for your question. I might use 5 sec or 10 sec for something like this. A 10-sec interval will give you 3,240 images and a final video of 1.8 min length (played at 30 fps). Double those numbers for the 5-sec interval. Shorter intervals will require a lot of memory to accommodate the large number of images that would be generated in 9 hrs. A 16 GB card will hold only about 6500 images at 7MP each. So you need to make your setting selection based on a number of factors.
+vlog4x4 Thanks for your question. I changed the resolution mode in the tutorial simply to show that this option exists. However, there is a practical reason for selecting a lower resolution. The time-lapse film is constructed with multiple images, each whatever size is selected in the camera menu. This means you can end up with a very large file with a higher resolution mode, especially if there are hundreds of images. By using 7 megapixels, you can reduce the final file size; this resolution is still quite high and suitable for most situations. However, if you prefer, you can use 12 megapixels. The choice really depends on how many images will be used in the time lapse and what file size you can manage.
