Hi FadingSignal,
Thanks very much for this video! I'm just getting into modding and was
learning to merge plugins with TES5Edit when I found errors in mods I'd
downloaded. I couldn't figure out how to (*try to*) correct them because I
didn't understand the interface, but after watching your video I have a
better handle on what's going on so thank you!
Also, you have a good voice and manner for these videos - clear, concise
and not rushed. Really good, I subscribed and look forward to learning more
from you!
"Referenced by" tab only shows records from plugins that were indexed by
TES5Edit, which are all mods except Skyrim.esm by default. You can build
reference index for Skyrim.esm in right click menu -> Other -> Build
Reference Info, it takes some time.
+XxMml57xX yeaa the combat is better, and you can get great combat mods for skyrim unlike oblivion. i just hated how in skyrim you join a guild and its like you're automatically one of the top dogs, in oblivion you had to work your ass off to get respect in a guild or faction. when you beat the third quest for the companions "proving honor" they talk about how you're such a valued member, and how they're gonna revel in the mead halls about you and shit.
Look it up on STEAM. The author provides a link to download if you don't want to use steam. The Author was banned from Nexus. Not sure what for. However the mod has a lot more features than what the video shows.
+enzo nuestro It's not on Nexus anymore, you have to download it from the links in description. - I did find it safe, and have been using it for quite a while now.
+AsurorusA First you gotta take it from the magician's room at dragonreach in whiterun, then you learn the grimonio and it will appear in the menu!

I was looking for a good gaming desktop to purchase, could anyone recommend
one that can run skyrim on ultra with no lag and smooth fps with mods like
falskaar, civil war overhaul, and wyrmstooth installed? (you know, big
mods). And also graphical mods like skyrim 2k textures.

+William Schaffer It's a modding tool that makes installing and uninstalling mods and plugins quite simple. But I honestly highly recommend Mod Organizer more than Nexus Mod Manager. It makes installing and uninstalling mods just as simple as NMM, but it does it in a way that doesn't actually touch your Skyrim data folder. This keeps your original skyrim installation intact. You may not think much of it if you're just installing a few mods. But if you have a load order with 158 mods installed (not including the ENB) that all need to interact with said data folder, Mod Organizer and help alleviate many headaches caused by infinite loading screens, save game bloat, and crashes. The only downside to MO is that it takes a bit of getting used to for someone new and you'll definitely need a guide to teach you how to use it. But it's worth it. So yes, there are definitely pros to using NMM, but Mod Organizer is an overall better tool to use.
It manages the mods that you acquire from nexus. Its a must download if you just want to install a mod in two clicks of your mouse. Completely safe.
