Spare Change eBay Store - How to Start an eBay Business with Spare Change
Follow me as I attempt to turn a pile of spare change into a thriving eBay store. Each week I seek out new items at garage sales and thrift stores to sell in my ...
This is awesome! I didn't document my progress from the start, but I was in
a very similar situation when I began selling on eBay. I started with $1 at
a garage sale and have worked my way up! Shipping is something you don't
think about. As you grow, you can buy boxes/bags in bulk and have a small
cost per item, but in the beginning, you need to go to staples or Lowes and
buy 1 box for a big chunk of your profit. I've started to document my flips
at my blog FlippingADollar.blogspot.com
Sales have been HOT! But I am struggling to find new inventory for the Spare Change store. But, persistence pays off and I was found a few new items to keep it ...

Northern Picker - Ebay Store Category Keywords - You need to check them
Tutorial on how and why you need to check you Ebay Store Keywords. Ebay Category Keywords info page: ...
Did it drive up your sales when you change your all your keywords? I just
did mine yesterday and had three sales the next day maybe a coincidence
maybe not. I'm hoping for better results from now on. I would like to know
what results you had from changing them.
Thanks for the video NP! Good stuff buddy! It might help if anyone changing
their keywords pings the store's url so that googie know of the changes...
They may visit it quicker to re-index!
I have also noticed that you can edit the individual categories within the
main category and wonder if this is why the drops in sales occur,
essentially because the default is still in process in your subcategory.
For instance, Women's shoes is the main category, edit that then click on
the category to edit the subs ex. heels, flays, etc. Hope that makes sense.
Otherwise your heels category is still a bunch of random crap, as well as
any sub categories you have under your main category. Another 5 hours to
edit and conform my store so the crawlers are picking them up!
I started this whole key word thing a while back, my sales died and i was
trying to figure out why. and this is what i found so I posted in several
groups to give all sellers a heads up
+mp2k15 I opened them several years ago. I would have to review the process again. In order to give you good info on the right way to do that with all the changes eBay has made since then. Are you looking to open another one?
I found out about this a month ago from the Reseller Society a thread
posted by Mark Scutter Martin and yes my sales dropped by about 40% after
updating my keywords and waiting about 2 weeks my sales increased back to
normal levels.
Great guide, nice and easy to follow. For UK Sellers, you have to go to "My
Ebay" "Account" Tab then "Manage my shop".
Also, does anyone here have a tool they use to find the best keywords on
ebay for each category ? (that would be very useful) Many thanks.
+Northern Picker In these times, i am certain someone will have made a 'ebay keyword finder' if not, maybe someone here, who is technical like that can make one and help us fellow pickers out :O) We need all the help we can get when it comes to selling on ebay, thas for sure.
+Casual-classics Thanks for the kind words.... And the additional info for UK Sellers.. I do not have a tool.. I am using the best keywords that relate to what my most popular items are that I sell per category. Good Question! Maybe someone is using a tool for that.
