Magic Trumpet Channel (Stéphane PISO, French trumpeter on You Tube) say :
"Hello Joseph ! What a very good surprise ! I took a real pleasure to
listen to this Sonata played with a such talent ! Bravo !"
You remind me of myself about a year ago! I ALWAYS played in the upper half
and near or right on top of the finger board. I even lifted my bow on many
occasions. It is great that you can get that sound from the tip, but
imagine how much more AMAZING it would sound if played closer to the frog
and closer to the bridge. Good luck, so far, so good! Don't be nervous...
you look pretty scared!
You make it look so easy when you play! I am right here trying to play the
piece and then I look at you and say 'Man I am an idiot who can't play a
piece!' Btw nice job on the piece!!!
Thanks ! It's a MW 2250TL, check out some of my other videos you can hear the horn much better, this arrangement is a bit thick between the piano and tuba so it's sometime difficult to hear it well. But it's a great f tuba :)
