Depends on your VT500 and where you are. She was Moted and Taxed a while after this video as i came off my CB250N :( But yea, depends on if we both like what we see in person, as that girl needs a new chain and brakes still need work,

@brunao13 Tive uma 450DX e esquentava bastante. Não chegava a enrolar os pêlos, mas dava pra sentir o bafo quente mesmo ela tendo radiador de óleo. Hj tenho uma GS500E e aparentemente esquenta menos, mas tb o motor da GS é menos largo do que a da CB.

Great video I would just like to make it clear for the noobies like myself that you demonstrated how to work on one set of valves on one cylinder. To then switch to the next side, do one complete rotation of the alternator and align again with the "T." Valves on the other side should be loose and at top dead center for you to then begin adjusting. Thanks dude!

hello, thank you for the informative video, I'm in the UK, and i have a CB350S I am buying a 27ps 450s engine from Germany! i wish to swap the cam shaft like you. you say no changes to carburettor. I checked parts, jets are the same, but apparently the needle is different. can you explain or help? many thanks

+Ed the Petrol Head .... the original upgrade kit consists the cam, a 16 tooth spoket, and parts arround the carb, like main jet, nedle and other springs for the vacum slider. BUT this kit is nomore avail, or produced from honda, so you have to take your own way ;) .... just replace the cam (mine was from an US cb450 nighthawk) and the spoket and inspect your spark plugs after some ride. (white or bright gray color is to lean mix) mine was a dark gray, nearly black, so it was not necesary to change anything else......... a few years later i refurbished the whole carb with new parts from the 44ps engine, ther is absolutly not change to better performance or efficeny. just keep the carb as it is, as long you need no overhaul ;) ... hope it helps, best regards Rolly ;)

hey hallo, ich hab mir seid kurtzem eine cb450s mit 27ps gekauft interessiere mich aber die wieder auf 44ps laufen lassen. ist das fur den motor ok mit 44ps zu laufen, kann es das vertragen? wenn ja wo kann ich so eine camshaft suchen und kaufen. ist der einbau einfach? wo kann ich die leitugen fur die instalazion suchen? danke das sie so einen video gepostet haben, ganz praktisch

+Joao Costa mahlzeit, sry für die späte antwort... also die suche nach der passenden nockenwelle gestaltet sich leider von jahr zu jahr schwiriger, ich hatte meine direkt aus amerika via ebay bezogen. lokal werden die 44ps wellen fast schon wie gold gehandelt. sie sollte nicht mehr als 150€ kosten, sonst ist das angebot überzogen. schau mal in die honda twin foren hinein, dort findest du weitere infos aus welchen moppeds die nockenwellen auch passen ;)ps. der motor war für 44ps konstruiert, darum hält er das auch aus... allerdings ist der motor natrülich nicht "dauer" vollgas fest, also nicht minutenlang mit 170 herrumfahren, sonst verbrennt er ;)

:D yes, its quiet ugly to speed with it, because you need to lay down like a monkey... but its funny to get noticed by all others on street.... my fastest run was 180km/h and both mirrors got moved in :D:D:D

yes that right, you need only to replace the camshaft ;)...but to have the max speed, you need to replace the 15 cog spocket to one with 16 cog ;)

When you say "modelo Turbo" You mean to say that there was a turbocharged version of this bike? I thought that the only turbocharged factory Honda bike was the Honda City?
