This is awesome. For demolition derby we run bobcat tires and they get rounded off from running over stuff. There's still plenty of tread, it's just not sharp. This will be the perfect way to sharpen them up. Thank you so much!

we did somthing like this for our racing tires on our dirt car. We would buy old nascar pulloffs for 25$ a peice, then take a grooving iron to em and they run better than 125$ hoosiers, and we get to choose the pattern we want

That's not re-grooving, your just removing half of the tread blocks and cutting your surface area in half. Re-grooving involves cutting the area between the tread blocks deeper than it currently is.

i use a regular ol circular saw to cut new sipps in mine. make em last a few more years in the rain and snow. worked great and easy too. just set the depth and go

This would be good for offroad use, only drawback is they must ride rough and sing like hell on the road. This could also be used to turn a set of AT's into MT's

This is not re-grooving. This is opening the lugs. In re-grooving you remove material between the lugs of the tread.
