I searched all over for DIY tutorials, and there wasn't much DIY for natural hair so i decided to do it myself! If you're looking for a simple, easy, stellar ombré this is ...
Glad your hair came out the way you wanted. It's pretty. But just to
encourage you, don't be scared to get it professionally done. Who ever did
yours either didn't know how to do it on textured hair or didn't have
products that worked cohesively with your texture.
+TheKingKelsie I'm not afraid per say. I'll probably go again in the future...but i'm the type of person where.. if i mess it up, i'd rather blame myself than someone else you know? Plus i know my hair the best, so i just keep trying until i perfect it.. OORR until i find a beautician that can work magic with my hair!! :)
+SparklingBee87x Just 45minutes. I colored it three times to get that current color. You don't want to leave it past that 45min, 50minutes at the most to prevent your hair from being damaged. The first time you color it, it doesn't appear to do anything. If you let your hair rest, after a month you can color it again. I waited about 2 weeks then did a protein treatment to restore the curls.
oh this is awesome! does the color dry out your hair ? have you tried other
brands of color and got different results? could you do a vid on
maintaining colored natural hair??
That's the beauty of Loreal, it didn't dry out my hair and i have EXTREMELY DRY HAIR. No matter what color brand you go with i'd definitely advise not leaving the color in for longer than 40minutes. If you have to color your hair more than once until you get the desired color it's worth the wait.I'll definitely post a video on maintaining colored natural hair, the struggle is real.
Thanks for posting, I was looking for a video that used this product on
natural hair. Looks good. Had you ever dyed your hair a dark color before
you used it the first time? My hairs dyed black so I'm wondering if it'll
take
Yeah it will color but you'll probably have to do what I did and color it several times over the course of several months depending on how light you want to go. My hair was jet black when i began. After the third ombre it's now red-ish gold.

Great vid! I just bought this brand but a different color. It looks at tho,
it gave great results. I'm going to try it today. Was it drying to ur hair?
+Naturally Batel Oh, I'm sorry, I guess I'm not that extensive. Honestly im Just another Ethiopian American trying to promote my work and I came across your channel, I subscribed. Check it out if you'd like to :). www.cyberdescent.com and Cyber Descent on Facebook. :)
hey! just wondering what do you edit with? is it movie maker (windows) ? if
so, how do you get te overlay effect with another video on the corner while
you're speaking? +Naturally Batel
+tropical0kay Ya i used to, but iMovie allows me to make them HD even though I'm using the same camera, and there's more options for fancy editing like that! :)
I am in love with the color! It may take another round to perfect the "vibrancy" of the color but I am very impressed with L'oreal's Feria Wild Ombre box dye.
I've just bought this from my local dollar tree. This will be the first time
using a permanent color.Did your box says for black natural hair if you
remember it? Did your hair suffer damage beside dryness? Any help from a
fellow natural will be really appreciated.
+vonne2003 I believe the dye is specific for dark hair colors (brunettes etc.). I would recommend shea moisture hair dye for natural hair. My hair was dry, but it has a really pretty color. I did not want to moisturize my hair except on wash day. I would suggest thinking about how often you like to do your moisturizing routine. I think with hair bleach my hair required more moisture...and to keep my hair healthy daily moisture is probably a best plan. These are things that I realized once I dyed my hair. Also weekly deep conditioning is something that can help maintain your curl moisture. Hope these tips are helpful to you. :)

I just subscribe to your channel. Your hair looks very define. And nice
color. I wanted to dye my hair that color, but ill wait. Plus I'm still in
the process of trying to take care of my hair. I can't wait for you upload
more videos soon
+Sam E'Joe Show Thanks for the tips. I'm not getting it colored anytime soon tho, but I will let you know. I got dyed black once. Come to think about it. My hair might have been relax. I don't really remember. I wanna get my hair cut, and just start over again anyways. I really appreciate the reply back. Thank you so much :)
Awww thanks for the subscription! I will say coloring hair is such a fun way to change the style of hair. I will say that coloring my hair dried my hair a bit so just be aware of that. But also everyone's hair is different so maybe you won't have that effect. Good luck and let me know how it goes if you decide to color your hair :-)
