thanks...i respect your discipline (which was seen in your bug out conversion)...EPIC effort bro! you set the standard and I've shared in many forums. you should do a 10 min edit of your entire conversion in one video!
+Jeff Porcaro Groove Master The service manual says so, best to follow the manufacturer's recommendation, especially during your warranty period. The o-ring is cheap anyways,, buy in bulk it's even cheaper.
+AHS Society I made a goal to cut down on the cussing. lol It's a bad habit, nothing wrong with a little cussing but sometimes I cuss like a trucker. lol Not on purpose though.
+ the gaming chicken... The last bolt he removed from the engine... He removed it while it was running and he mentioned there was oil coming out so it was good... Any idea what's that bolt is??
+Brett Young I don't know if oil pressure on a motorcycle should be a concern. Maybe you are referring to the bolts he took off to change the oil filter?
+ the gaming chicken.. What's that mean exactly... Is it a literal rail? Or a verb... Is he just undoing about to see if there's oil or is that plug for that purpose only and it's called a rail... Or... Just derail as a verb

I guarantee those torque wrenches are not accurate. I own all three of
them, have tested them against my twenty year old MAC TQ. wrench. not even
close.
+40mmrrsmith That's all the more reason your 20 year old torque wrench is off, just sitting for 5 years straight without being calibrated and being old is probably off.
+CycleCruza It was checked about five years ago. I rarely use it, so it didn't lose calibration sitting in the tool box. All Harbor Freight tools are junk. But can get the job done if it's all you have. I'd bet $ I can can beat your Harbor Freight TQW with a hand ratchet.
+Mal Reynolds snap on is the best for sure, but so expensive like you said. If I were a mechanic I would get snap on stuff but I don't use tools that often so these HF cheap tool are fine for me.
+CycleCruzaNothing wrong with that. And I have some stuff from Harbor Freight, too. I don't like Chinese tools, but I have the same tool cart you have, plus the bigger red one. The tool carts are actually very nice, and a great value for the money. I have Snap-On tools also, but I tend to avoid that brand because they are WAY too expensive. I have alot of tools, and several tool boxes. My collection is a mix of everything. I was a mechanic for 25 years.
+Mal Reynolds Nothing wrong with chinese stuff as long as it's made well. I got chinese fairings when I bought my brand new cbr1000rr and these fairings great. My oem fairings are sitting in mint condition in storage.
A while back I brought a Pittsburgh 3/8" drive click type torque wrench
brand new to tighten my intake manifold builds on my car. SOB wrench didn't
work. I set it at 15 ft pounds, no click. The only click I heard was my
bolt snapping.
How are those wrenches treating you? I kind of want to pick up a set of
ratcheting wrenches, sometimes my snap on/craftsman sockets don't fit into
places. My neighbor had a harbor freight socket set and they all cracked
after a single use so I'm still debating whether to spend $$ on HF tools.
