These guys would have made it big if their music had been market as modern country, instead of alternative or top 40. Athenaeum had just enough of a roots rock sound which resembled Tom Petty and was about as opposite to Dave Matthews Band as you can get. So yes, on country radio in 2012, Athenaeum would be very popular!

I love discovering "new" 90s bands, lol. It is great to get introduced or reintroduced to bands from this decade, you probably overlooked. Athenaeum was this band for me :D

Great song, this band never got the fair shake they deserved-Radiance still sounds great in 2012- highly underrated band.

This song brings back so many memories of younger days. Some good. Some bad. Either way, I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world and somehow when I hear this song I feel like I'm right there again.
