What I was wondering was a ball park figure, I had always liquidated items via eBay but have much large furniture as depicted that over the 150 LB UPS limit would not be feasible to ship.. therefore I'm looking into an auction house such as yours where I could unload such goods, in quantity say $1 & no reserve., how much for a 15 yearold cloth sofa sagging from an extended Elmer's slumber? Or what did that Washer/Dryer or any of those archaic easy chairs in the back row go for? at 0:53

Cool, thanks for the heads up. Too bad our auction venues have a lofty sense of themselves & reject many items as noted. (to tell you the truth; I haven't seen most of the merchandise at the dump for some years now. lol But if there was a source locally, it would be nice to make some Green!

Couches will usually sell anywhere from 30-100+ Recliners average 25-60 Mattress in good condition sell well around 60. The washer and dryer I think went for 60 each. The pinball machine needed work and it went for 80. The old white kitchen cabinet brought 80. Hope this gives you an idea.

It will always depend on the style, color and condition. It also depends a lot on who shows up for the auction. We have dealers come to buy for their stores but that should not put someone off who is buying for personal use. The dealer will want to spend less to keep a profit margin.

Whats up Pirate. Can you tell me anything about how to get around ebay's VeRO program? Is there something I can put on my listing in maybe HTML to have this avoided. I have seen other ebay members listing items that are definitely infringing on others copyrights with thousands of feedback from buyers and these sellers are still alive and not suspended. I have no intention of listing anything copyrighted but have been suspended several times before due to the VeRO program Thanks in advance.

Good video. There is nothing left on ebay anymore except cheap imported lead-filled garbage! Nothing you can't get locally for cheaper and less hassle. That best match sucks. That model-plan took out ebay express BTW in case everyone missed that fact. JMO, Donahoe is purposely trying to destroy ebay but for whatever reason won't just come right out & close it down. Will take you all down with it. So get now and take them for all you can on the way out. The way they are trying to do you.

Shopping on eBay this past Xmas was a complete pain wifh "Best Match" constantly showing up. You're right, it's filled with these big sellers. I found they're not always the cheapest either for what I wanted. Ended up shopping on Amazon, actually--no wonder they're beating out eBay. Hey you know before when people woould file an item not as discribed I would always win but now paypal always side with the buyer and basicly ask the they return item and once they confirm its returned paypal credits them. not mater what they say I have had people who said just didn't like it and are able to geta refund... by the way I cought on to this and have done this to others and it works just the same..

Hey DJ... great to have you back! The license plate is fantastic. Can I get some bumper stickers to go with that too? Amazon keeps me so busy now that I hardly have time to list elsewhere. Stuff in my eBay store either sits with no traffic or attracts some cheap low-ball offer. Simply, Amazon is a performer. eBay is a non-performer. And Craigslist is great for all stuff that's not easily shipped.

That's great.But if you open a new account ebay HOLDS YOUR MONEY FOR YOUR FIRST 100 TRANSACTIONS TILL THE BUYER LEAVES FEEDBACK. Also,If you send someone money through paypal if it goes to an incorrect email address,You will not be notified for a month should you be unaware. They seem to have all the fuck over bases covered.

You could say you never got it, and get a refund via PayPal. PayPal DOESN'T PROTECT you from "not-as-described" or "doesn't work", or "is a piece of shit" claims. It only offers limited protection from non-receipt claims. So, choose which one will get you what you need.
