+timeto Eat im sorry for not being clear. My car is an 07 sti. its currently at 300awhp. The car I was talking about that's making 540awhp is a car that my mechanic is currently tuning. I mentioned it cause that cars build is similar the build im going to do in the future. we're running the same fueling, same turbo size but mine will be dual ball bearing, same forged internals except all mine will also be micro polished. SO, once my car is built I should be in the 500awhp range no problem. SHOULD haha. Im hoping. I've currently got atleast $10,000 in parts sitting in my room and I've got $4,000 in forged internals at my mechanics shop. + the $700 it cost to get those forged internals micro polished. Im also going to be getting head work done on my heads so i'll have real good/ smooth top end power. it'll be something to see for sure. Im going pretty extensive on this build. Don't know when it'll get started/ completed. So if u wanna see it keep checking my channel. I'll be sure to post vids once my monster STI is built.
i've got so many parts for this build its ridiculous. I even had my forged internals micro polished. and i'm gonna have head work done too. a similar build (but not as extensive as mine) is still being tuned and i think its already in the 540 awhp range. and thats on 91 octane+ methanol injection and a turbo thats similar to the one that ima use cept mine is dual ball bearing.
I know right!! haha. I told my mechanic Subaru should just build their new subarus with this already in there and use forged pistons. He said they'll never do that cause that would mean they would have to admit that their car has flaws... The oil pickup tube is such an important parts that I had no clue existed for such a long time. I really wanna replace it soon. Right now vibration is my enemy. That's what could knock the stock one loose. I hope my car holds out until the build!! I just ordered the last of my build parts today. Coilovers!! Exciting times ^_^

yo PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! thanks
i have a 2012 sti,
- invidia downpipe w/ full n1 exhaust
- k&n typhoon intake
running fine for 2 months with the cobb stage 2 aem map 93 octane
-i was planning on getting a protune but didnt have the money; so to to be
safe i put back my stock intake which i think is better than the
aftermarket ones and downloaded the cobb stage 2 stock intake map 93 octane
and flashed it
and 2 days later my check engine light goes off on the highway after doing
a run, and this loud tapping; rattling noise after i go over 2500 RPM's is
what im dealing with now. have no clue what this is; i thought i would be
safer with the stock intake stage 2 map. i mean WTF this is the reason why
i switched back in the 1st place. i about had it with subaru's man im so
pissed now i have to put my stock exhaust back on and take it to the dealer
and hope they warranty it.
AND now im watching this video like thats exactly how my shit sounds like
fucking oil pickup prob
