@vege22o We are running the stage 2 map from the Cobb Accessport on there
right now, A 3 inch Turboback exhaust, a Cosworth Intake, Tein Monoflex
Coilovers, Cusco Trailing Arms and Lateral Links, Cusco Sway bars, Cobb
Endlinks, Bride seats, Prova steering wheel, Prova Si shift knob, Mode
short shifter, ARC knob and Takata Harnesses......for now....
It really should not sound much different at all. As for the STi, I think
at the time of this video it only had the catback and possibly a catted
downpipe. This was almost 2 years ago now and the car has gone thru many
changes since then.
I called Cobb yesterday 11/11/11 and was told unofficially of course that
this was slated to release in December. Lets hope it holds true. I asked
them to email me when they get them as ill likely buy at least the catback
immediately.
The system is not officially out! Cobb did a soft release of 80 handmade
CBE for the sedan model. However, Cobb is giving a rough estimate of 3
months for full release. I just ordered one of the 80, sound clip and
photos coming soon!
@Ju5TcHiilLbrA I bought the Invidia N1 race exhaust for my 2011 sedan. it
is definitely one of the louder exhausts. it gives the signature rumble
you'd expect from a H-4. check out my channel for some videos of my
car/exhaust. :D
@Ju5TcHiilLbrA Sound exactly how i wanted my Subaru to sound. You get that
legendary rumble. but the N1 race is a bit loud at times. like when you
come home at 3 a.m trying not to wake up the neighborhood :(
@weridespinners3 Anything in terms of exhaust will work for both the STi
and WRX the same as long as you have the hatchback/Sedan parts correct.
(ie. Sedan parts will not fit on a hatchback and vice versa.)
@Thappreluck07 That would be the JDM light. You can find it on our website
by searching for part number STI JDMREARLIGHT2011 . I would include a link
to it, but youtube blocks URLs in the comments. Thanks.
@toxeva Currently Cobb does not offer a off the shelf map for the Cosworth
Intake system. A custom calibration/retune of the vehicle would be
recommended when installing this intake on to your vehicle.
@FSTRNU24 We currently have a Invidia catback system for the 2011 STi, they
offer it in a stainless steel tip as well as titanium tip if you wanna mix
it up. That item can be located on our website.
@SandowEvents Thanks! In regards to the stability question, that is
something we unfortunately have not tested or noticed. I wish we had the
resources to test this for you ;)
There is absolutely zero truth to this statement. We don't know what is
going on with the 2011+ Sedan exhaust systems but we are continuously
seeing COBB release new products.

@BHlax14 Most often that is correct, as long as they find that thats the
source of the problem then it would most likely not be covered under
warranty. I would ask the dealership just to make sure I am giving you
accurate information :) I do not think SPT will be designing an aftermarket
Downpipe. It would be hypocritical for them to allow you to run an SPT
3inch Downpipe but not a _______ 3inch downpipe
@BHlax14 Unfortunately not. If your car breaks or what not and you take it
back to the dealership they must prove that what you did caused the
problem. For example, if you have an aftermarket downpipe on the car and
your electrical system fails then they MUST replace it under warranty
because there is no way the downpipe could have caused that
If there is any problem with the engine they won't replace if you have an
aftermarket downpipe? is it possible SPT comes out with a downpipe that
doesn't void warranty?
@zzyzx85 I would say little drone. Every exhaust is going to have drone at
some point. The Cobb exhaust is one of the quieter ones, hence the not so
noticeable drone.
so they make a cobb exhaust and matching downpipe... but do u have to put
on the downpipe or can u just use the stock downpipe and just put on the
exhaust
