More hidden gems, 1959, 1960 and 1962 Plymouth Fury automobiles
At a Christmas party, it would figure I'd be on the hunt for old cars, regardless. I was not disappointed with the hunt. Cornered was a 1959 Plymouth Fury with a ...
@monarch1957 Yes, I would agree, the 'Forward Look' vehicles are not the
most common sight to see. The truth and the fact is, while they were an
extremely well thought out concept, and honestly were ahead of their time,
build quality and endurance to rust was not too strong, hence the low
numbers seen today. When you do see them , they are certainly well worth a
look. To get a nice one these days fetches a high price!
@ZeroNowHero Oh yes, I did, there she was in disguise, awaiting her new
tires, etc. Being very respectful to her, one knows what happens to bad
people. I am good though, she likes me. If the song had been an old '50's
song, it would have spooked me, but the music was more in tune for my '72
Vista Cruiser, but 'Last Dance' by Donna Summer reminded me of a scene in
the movie. Last dance - eternity or adventure.....
Very nice cars I am currently restoring a 1961 plymouth fury , Its good to
see more of these forward look mopars back on the road they certaintly do
not belong in a field rotting or in a junk yard. They belong on the road.
I sure hope who ever owns they cars will bring it to PACE car show in
Pulaski , TN it will be on 9/26/15 at Martin College.
@deathkeeper5000 Thanks very much. To answer your question, no, I have
never owned one. I did ride one several years ago, did enjoy it very much.
My attachment to old cars, and the real lack of space/extra finances to
keep a trike, and the distance to go just to be able to enjoy one precludes
ownership at this stage of life.
@jbrunsonjr Hey Jack, coming across things like this can be the best one
can hope for, it is about what you see and experience in life, not so much
what you actually get. All is decent, the same back to you.
Some nice and very rare cars, you don't see many plymouths in that vintage
anymore like Chevys and Fords. Good to see some of them saved. A guy in
town here has several Plymouths in the same era.
Ol' Mann! ..........I got a chill when you opened that garage door, and
there lurking inside was the killer car Herself !!! Christine !!!! with the
Radio playing!!! "goose bumps"
Ótimo! Eu gostei disso! Um mais bonito do que o outro!
