Game On - Star Trek Attack Wing "Negh'Var" Klingon Ship
This time we check out the Klingon Negh'Var class ship. this giant battlecruiser packs massive amounts of firepower, yet as other Klingon ships, still has good ...
Not sure what Action Clix is, but The models are the same ones that Wizkids
used for the Star Trek Tactics Heroclix game. They removed the actual ship
names and serial numbers from the ones that had them printed on it (like
the Federation ships) as they can be used as both the named ship and a
generic variant, but other than that, they are the exact same model. A few
people have converted the "clear" cloaked versions of the Tactics models to
represent when their ship is cloaked in Attack Wing,
The biggest mistake was that Uhuru would actually be fluent in multiple
languages including Klingon. This error was corrected in the Star Trek Into
Darkness.
+Ted “Bear” Not fu*kin Seth McFarlane Her name is "UHURA," and that's no "mistake" - these wonderful films are what they are and they're great as they are.
Star Trek Klingon Part 3 - Today is a Good Day to Devour

True, he does not outright say "all Klingon food is raw or live" however on
either Conversational Klingon or Power Klingon, during one conversation at
a resturaunt, the customer asks "Is all Klingon food raw?" to which the
waitress says "Klingons do not enjoy burnt meat/animals" and that's with
Okrand speaking the Klingon portion of the discussion. My guess is they
changed it so that Klingon food IS cooked. The convo above doesn't actually
SAY all food is raw, so it can easily be ignored
I'm just following orders guise. ;; Srsly, in the game, there are no
captions. You have to pause the film, then click on things and the computer
tells you orally what you clicked on with a short description. Aside from
weapons, all such items are described in English. Ex: Durani Lizard Skins,
Tapastry, Hooves of the Tiqnoq beast, Akta crystal, Configurable Brige
Display, Blast Door, Briget Lung, etc. Someone remind me, I'll CamStudio
some actual gameplay and you'll see what I mean.
The impression I got was that if you DID try to reach for it, it would do
... something. They just never got around to explaining just what that is.
All I've come up with is (a) it would attack whoever it was pointing at
when you reach for it (b) it would pulse with some kind of energy similar
to a phaser or disrupter, (c) explode and kill everyone, or (d) somehow
strangle you with the strings it's dangling from. .. ok maybe not that last
one XD
Okrand doesn't say that all food is raw. The verb vut (to cook) does mean
prepare as apposed to apply heat, but there is also the verb mIQ which
means to deep-fry something. It could also be considered a mis-translation
by the UT. It knows vut as cook so the Klingon could be vutHa' and the UT
makes that into "over cook".
I'd have to Agree with Kanenkitten, if you leave the English names on there
it would be too easy for the first timers. If you just leave the Klingon
names it would give a better challenge for the first timers and possibly
better entertainment with more views for you
HIja'. Okrand says that some food is prepared using heat, while some isn't.
I normally assume that Klingon food runs the whole spectrum, going from
live all the way to well cooked. Excellent job you have done with this game
BTW.
i didn't think i would ever learn so much about a race of peoples that
doesn't exist... i also thought that if ever their were so much information
on a certain race that i wouldn't relay care. boy was i wrong!
Oh crap! I never even considered that. Dude I think you figured out a
secret tie-in to TNG that I totally missed. Good call sir! Hm .. imagine if
they had been eating "lotsa spaghetti" and "toast" XD
Looking at that probe-scene again, I was hit by the realisation one could
actually grab it from behind... But you are to listen to your elders...
Even when they are backstabbing and conniving
Hey, Unanimous, do you think the "Federation woman" who gave the recipie
that used "Vodka" in Blood Pie was Worf's adopted mom? I mean, the last
name of her husband sounds Russian. X-D
I think it would probibly be best for the first time players if you don't
put the English names up for the foods in the choices, just to make it a
bit harder for them!
"Do not spoil the day with POLITICS!" I love how she puts it that way.
Star Trek Klingon - Part 16 - A Good Negotiator

Are you over on All Scale Trek?
They'd be keen to learn some tricks and tips from a fellow fan.
Also, are you working on Star Trek: Renegades or Star Trek: New Voyages? If
not, why not = )
You never know, if the price is right and your hat's in the ring, you might be a competitive option for those or similar projects... im sure your skill is competitive if these vids are anything to go by
I don't think so.I'm not. Never been asked, lol. Of course, seeing the stuff Tobias Richter and The Light Works do for ST:NV and such, I don't think I could be to that standard.
How to speak Klingon - Heghlu'meH QaQ jajvam - It is a Good Day to Die!
Capt. Herbert Midgley, the Internet Legend, teaches you how to speak Klingon.
@Some Guy
You should have seen the Frasier episode where a Trekkie gave Kelsey
Grammer's character a cheat sheet for his son's Bar Mitzvah speech which
was written in Klingon instead of Hebrew. The Rabbi called him out on the
speech being gibberish, only for a nerdy kid in the pews to correct the
Rabbi that the speech was delivered in Klingon.
I was using that as an example for why learning different langauges is
still needed. And yes that was a really good episode - i wish more would
have had aliens that were actually alien rather then some kind of human
with make up.
