Nice 355 with 69 Vett heads setup with Screw in rocker studs Guide plats and 2.02 vales with aftermarket dual springs retainers locks. Forged flat top pistons ...
With the double hump heads (exh. pocket ported) it made 390hp when a water
leak was discovered. The oil was milky so we had to stop. I was
anticipating around 410 to 420hp. The heads started leaking under the valve
springs (bad machine work). I changed the heads to Dart Platinum 200cc
heads and the engine did 440hp on pump gas.
Man you got that bitch buffed to a mirror-like finish. Look at the flowers
reflecting off that shit at 0:40. Sounds like you got some vibration going
on there. Time to crawl under and tighten the oil pan bolts again. XD
No unfortunately it hasn't seen the track yet. 1800 Miles on engine and
trans, so i'm waiting for a few more miles before I start hammering on it.
She just gets driven around on nice days.
Haha thanks, we had just got done buffing it the day or two before. Truck
was actually pretty dirty in the video. Not sure where you're hearing the
vibration from, maybe just the camera.
This is the first start of the new motor! 406 small block, eagle crank, eagle H-beams, forged flat top pistons, Voodoo roller cam, AFR heads, Weland intake, ...
