About the poison oak, the key to getting rid of it is friction. There's a great video by extremedeerhabitat, you can search it, simulates the oil with dark grease, demonstrating various methods of removal. So wash 3 times, using a wash rag or other scrubber, making sure to get the places like back of knees, neck, between fingers, behind elbows, etc. Worth a look. Neat mine, glad you explored it for me.
