On the Facebook video you insist on not viewing ;-) , he's even forgetting the lyrics, mumbleling his words, in front of an audience that knows them by heart. I'm not judging the man, or the artist. +Nicolas Godon Correct. Many of the other vocalists in house music aren't readily available for live shows anyway. A lot of samples. Gregory Porter has serious talent and proves it here. Never an issue keeping up with the track. I've seen a few other performances from Disclosure and AlunaGeorge, and she unfortunately struggles.

I thought about it. I think you're right, I came to the same conclusion, due to the speed of the track: you can't sing all of it live, cause it's been mixed in studio after a thousand takes. Therefore you need to follow the backtracking track in case you're out of breath. Therefore you have to sound as close as the studio version, and it kind of ruins the whole purpose of the concert, cause you're trapped in the mixed vocals.

Oh I don't know. He's clearly singing over a backing track, but he matches it amazingly well when he's not doing ad libs

+Oussama helali Charlene is an amazing artist. I've had the pleasure of meeting her and she is lovely. Extreme talent. The problem these days is its not all about your talent. Its more about all the advertising and crap. I used to do gigs myself and I supported her at one and I knew then and there, she was going to be big. Charlene will have her time to shine one day. I'm pretty certain of that.

Listening to this song a year later. I have now completely lost all contact with my ex who this song is about for me. It's giving me goosebumps. I am now in a beautiful relationship that is full of happiness and is the complete opposite to before :) Still an amazing song!

I don't think so. I think it is just about feeling trapped in a relationship by someone who does not allow you to be you. It is how someone forces you to be a lesser version of yourself and you allow them to, because you think that that is what love means. And then you reach a point where you realize how much you have given up for the person and it is just not worth it anymore. But this is just my interpretation.
