Well, I was all ready to try this, I had my crumb topping started, and I looked through my cupboards only to find that I had a can of cherry pie filling, instead of apple, as I had thought. So, I just put the cheese back in the fridge, added nuts instead, and went with the cherry. I'm crossing my fingers it'll be tasty. :) I really do want to try this- I've never had apple/cheddar crisp.

Mrs Betty, I dont know how you stay so thin! I have cook a few of you recipes and they were all great! We had your peanut butter cookies again tonight. Theyre almost gone already. Thank you for putting together such delicious recipes here on youtube!!

Cheese compliments apple flavor very well. The cheese is makes the topping kind of "chewy." If you don't like it chewy, just omit the cheese, and this is a *great* recipe for apple crisp! Thanks for your lovely comment! --Betty :)

I've always been told when you cut in fat to flour, it should be cold. Otherwise the butter mushes into the flour...

I love food; I think we all do. Also I needed an original idea to help me share my music; if I said that my music was "awesome" for example, that would mean that I had no imagination and all of my music was performance only or that I am my biggest fan. I wish to share my music without being arrogant about what I do and food allows me to do that. Also food gives me endless inspiration to name my music.

As much as i loved the cuteness of the video, it being sponsored by gotmilk really upset me. there are so many reasons to not promote drinking milk from health reasons to environmental reason and ethical reasons.

I do drink almond milk and I do agree that milk is good for you. However the way in which dairy cows are raised and treated is unsustainable and un-humane. I do appreciate you tho!

+melluvs2cook I'm sorry you feel that way, Are you not able to drink milk? Goats milk is a great alternative or Almond, or my favorite coconut! But Milk in general is so good for the brain and bones.
